Trendy and smooth-riding e-bike
The Sparta c-Grid Energy has a nice mix of features. A sleek design with internal cable routing, the smooth motor, powerful hydraulic disc brakes and a very complete set-up. With this, Sparta manages to put down an electric bike with a very hip look as well as very nice handling.
By Sparta, the c-Grid is seen as the solution for urban transport. And they could be completely right about that. The frame is not only sturdy but also comfortable. Indeed, the low step trough makes getting on the bike very easy and the suspension fork ensures that you won't be bothered by bumpy surfaces. With a good pannier on the sturdy carrier, you can also carry lots of stuff. Who needs a car in the city when you can buy the Sparta c-Grid Energy?
Reliable Bosch system
For everyday use, it's nice to ride a reliable bike. Bosch's e-bike system is then a good choice. The Active Line Plus mid-drive motor delivers 50Nm, letting you overcome even bike bridges or headwinds with ease. Couple this with a 400Wh battery and you can cycle around 80 kilometres between charges. The 500Wh battery will soon let you ride 100 kilometres on a full charge. Not only for your rides around town, but also for a nice tour, this e-bike is therefore incredibly suitable.
Completely equipped
The Shimano Nexus 7 internal hub gear is a common gear system, allowing you to enjoy reliable shifting performance. With a 244% gear range, you'll always have the right gear at hand. In addition, you have access to hydraulic disc brakes. Lots of braking power, high dosage and good performance in bad weather characterise this system. Consider in addition that the bike is equipped with a high-quality lighting set, adjustable stem, a strong lock and sturdy stand and you have a perfect electric bike for everyday use.

Fully meets expectations
Fine Sparta Bike. This is the second Sparta I have purchased.

High-quality bike at nice price.
Already made some nice trips on it. Very nice bike.

Bike fine (except comfort saddle) service jacket could be better
I am happy with my bike. It cycles fine and looks nice. The wide tyres are also nice. However, it lacks comfort at the saddle. For instance, the saddle itself is really uncomfortable and there is no suspension underneath (the latter I knew when I bought it). We went back to Mantel to ask if they would do something about the saddle but they won't. Is at their own expense so those costs are added. Delivery went fine. The saddle and pedals are fitted to the bike but the bike is not adjusted for height. Also, you don't get the 1st service gift like other bike shops do. All in all, 4*

Just fantastic
A lovely bike for cycling longer distances. What a luxury and a pleasure that I can now cycle on the Sparta c-Grid.

Recommended definitely a good bike
Definitely recommended light on the road thanks to the wide tyres, doesn't go flat so quickly and if you keep up one pace it also lets you keep up whereby you can cycle longer
