SW-M8250 Shifter: the perfect gear shifting solution
The XT M8250 shifter features the same technologies as the XTR version, its bigger brother. With two versatile shift buttons that are adjustable in height as well as rotation direction, the shifter can be customised to the user's hand shape and size. This ensures optimal control and comfort on every ride, whatever the conditions.

Sophisticated technology for today's riders
The programmable third button on the shifter gives you complete freedom in terms of function allocation and can easily be set via the E-TUBE app. Whether you want to use it to operate your bike computer or for other e-functions, the SW-M8250 gives you the technology you need. The shifter has a rubber grip surface and is available in two mounting options: I-SPEC EV for a sleek finish and ease of use, or a clamping strap.

RD-M8250 rear derailleur
The XT M8250 rear derailleur is a fully wireless derailleur. Its battery is well concealed and covered inside the derailleur and, therefore, protected from any impacts and weather influences. The derailleur has been designed to withstand any form of impact and has a special impact-deflecting shape that makes it quite flexible. Thus, in case of an impact, the derailleur automatically and instantly returns to its original position to continue the ride as if nothing has happened. The jockey wheels are completely covered, so nothing can get caught in them. The long cage is made for the 10-51 cassette, and the medium cage is compatible with the 9-45 cassette.

Battery, charger and quick-link
The compact 310 MaH battery will last at least 300 kilometres. It is perfectly concealed inside the derailleur and can be easily removed for charging. The charger is included in the kit, as is a USB-C cable. Since the chain has to be disconnected for derailleur installation, a new quick-link is also included.

CS-M8200: The evolution of HYPERGLIDE+ shifting
The M8200 cassette is the latest innovation in the area of HYPERGLIDE+ shifting. With optimised tooth profiles on the cassette, this shifting group offers improved performance under high loads. The combination of smoothness, speed and durability makes this cassette unique. With 9-45T, it enables riding with a smaller front chainring and shorter derailleur, saving weight and increasing clearance to the ground. The M8200 cassette is only compatible with a Microspline freehub. A largely steel construction has been selected, with the largest two cogs made of aluminium, for a perfect balance between weight and durability.

Material and construction
The rear derailleur in the XT M8250 upgrade kit is designed using the proven Shadow ES technology, which not only makes gear shifting fast and instant but also quiet and reliable. As the robust aluminium design offers an optimal balance between durability and weight, the derailleur can handle tough conditions. While the integrated Di2 battery ensures a constant power supply, the construction is designed for reliability in changing conditions. This combination makes the system not only sturdy but also efficient in power management, so you can enjoy smooth shifting for a long time without interruption.

Extras and unique details
The SW-M8250 shifter features Rapid ES technology to make shifting feel extremely intuitive and direct. The wireless design makes the cockpit sleek and uncluttered, eliminating excess cabling. The BT-DN320 battery and EC-DN100 charger are perfectly matched, making charging easy and efficient. The SM-CN910-12 Quick Link also makes chain connection easier and faster, saving time during maintenance or assembly. Please note:
For a 10-51 cassette, you need the long cage. The 9-45 cassette is compatible with the medium cage. Swapping is not possible.
