The Shimano S-PHYRE RC903 is the improved version of the well-known RC902 and, as such, the ultimate racing shoe that is characterised by a superior fit and optimal power transfer. Innovation is the main priority in this shoe, so this version has been further optimised for maximum performance! The focus has been on three design aspects of this high-performance product: function-specific zones, power transfer optimisation and a perfect fit. To develop the S-PHYRE RC903, Shimano carefully studied the pedalling dynamics and foot movements of top cyclists. This allowed them to create function-specific zones, with mesh and synthetic leather reinforced uppers playing a crucial role. These materials provide this road bike shoe with a maximised fit, stiffness, flexibility and breathability.
Optimised power transfer
Like the RC902, the Shimano S-PHYRE RC903 is equipped with a full carbon sole, which has a stiffness level of 12. To further optimise the power transfer to the pedals, a new heel cup with anti-twist stabilisation is used. This addition provides the foot with a perfect position in the shoe, allowing for maximum acceleration and cadence.

Finally, a superior fit was central to the development of the Shimano S-PHYRE RC903. The new 360° Surround Wrapping upper surrounds the foot, with a supportive cocoon from the top all the way around the outsole. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.

December 22 bought this shoe and now 10,000km on, but the shoes disappoint me badly for the price. Can speak that I am above average in taking care of my stuff, but the shoe has flaws after only six months. Inner workings are coming loose, nose already damaged when you look at it and the top heel (where you step in) is also starting to crack. Expect better for this money.

After countless SIDI shoe models (including Shot) I have now finally found the Perfect shoe.

I have always believed to have a Sidi foot. Since the current Sidi Shot me recently has too much volume in the forefoot and the DMT KR SL has weaknesses in heel hold I have the S-Phyre RC903 actually tried out of "desperation". The best shoe I ever had on the foot! I am thrilled and can highly recommend this shoe to anyone with a narrow to medium instep. The brilliant sole shape also makes my Solestar insoles superfluous!

After countless SIDI shoe models (including Shot) I have now finally found the Perfect shoe.
I have always believed to have a Sidi foot.
