The Shimano 105 PD-R7000 pedals are beautiful, durable pedals for road bikes. These pedals have good rigidity, are not too heavy and have an extra durable pedal body. This makes these pedals ideal for the avid cyclist.

The pedal body of this 105 R7000 pedal is made of carbon composite. By using this material, Shimano has managed to create a very rigid pedal. The pedal surface is also extra large and ergonomically designed, which improves your pedalling efficiency, allowing you to cycle faster with the same amount of energy. In addition, the enlarged pedal body reduces the risk of sore feet during long cycle trips. The places where the shoe touches the pedal body are equipped with aluminium plates. This reduces wear, so you'll enjoy this beautiful pedal for a longer time!
Double bearings in the axle
The pedal axle of this 105 R7000 pedal has double bearings. These bearings make the pedal run extra smoothly and reduce the amount of energy lost when pedalling. The only downside to this construction is that the bearings are sealed less effectively compared to the Ultegra R8000 pedal. If you cycle a lot in dry weather, this won't be a problem. However, if you cycle in wind and weather and also in wet conditions, the Ultegra R8000 pedal may be a better choice for you: this pedal has an extra seal for the bearings.
