The X-One is now available in a "Mud Version", which has a coarser tread. The Cross specialist for truly muddy days. If you use these tyres without inner tubes, they are amongst some of the fastest on the market. Tubeless allows you to run much lower tyre pressures without having to fear for burping (unwanted pressure loss).

Tubeless is the next best thing when it comes to tyres. Tubeless tyres have clear advantages when it comes to speed, comfort, grip, and puncture protection. The patented new MicroSkin construction allows Schwalbe to make tyres which are easy to install, even without an inner tube, and offer a multitude of advantages over regular tyres. They're lighter than regular tubeless tyres, offer even less rolling resistance, and are less sensitive to punctures by sharp objects. Tubeless Easy tyres can be used in the regular fashion, using an inner tube, but their superior properties are best experienced tubeless.
