Reviews over the
Wahoo KICKR Move

Perhaps too early in the development stage...
This is a big step forward compared to my 7-year-old wheel-on trainer from Garmin. However, the connection with the laptop is certainly not top notch. On a 1000+euro machine, I expect a stronger ant+ connection, without having to place the dongle with an extension cable next to the trainer, which then occasionally disconnects anyway (the wifi won't connect to the trainer). I don't use the bluetooth, which is busy enough with phones and earphones etc. The included cassette is by Sunrace, a row of cogs stamped out of a plate instead of a reliable 105 or so, a real miss on a machine in this price range. Whether I am happy with this purchase? In terms of trainer, yes, however if I don't get the connectivity better soon it will go back, I find this too meagre for the price....

The best trainer you can buy right now for this money
Switched from a Tacx Neo 1 to the Kickr Move. Whereas on the Neo I suffered a lot from my seat more rides >1 hour this is much less on the Kickr Move. There is also much more lateral movement in the trainer which I personally also like. The trainer is fairly heavy though, which makes putting it down and putting it away 'for a while' quite a workout in itself. The trainer is whisper quiet and the cycling feeling is true to nature. Can definitely recommend this trainer.
