The product has a super price-performance ratio and I can only recommend. The assembly is very easy. The battery life is very long. The light can be adjusted in different levels and modules. The attached manual is very easy to understand. Acquaintances from the circle of friends have also already bought the taillight and are very satisfied.

I was going to bike the marmotte but it has been postponed due to corona. The house was already booked so I'm training in the French Alps. What. One. Party. But there are tunnels here and they really have no lights. You really are an ox if you go into those tunnels without lights, because the chance of an accident is really high. With these lights, no more trouble. One thing: such a radar is probably even better. But this light does what it's supposed to do. And it is rechargeable. So just buy it .

Excellent service from Mantel, both for order and delivery. The light is quite small and inconspicuous but where a power literally radiates from that little thing. With the flashing function during the day you are visible from hundreds of meters away and even at night no one will be able to say they didn't see you. In terms of comfort and safety a big 10!

Bontrager has done a good job. The light is quick and easy to attach and easy to configure. The only "quirk" is for me that the band is a bit long and comes from time to time when kicking my thigh. I would buy the light again!

My third unit. All with battery problems after longer period ( within two years). Suddenly cannot be recharged. Battery replacement/repair itself is not possible. Surely expect more life of this comparatively expensive taillight

Bought together with the Bontrager ION 200RT. The same exact thing applies to that lamp: I expected more from this. The lamp is in terms of build quality and amount of light and light modes fine. However, if you set it to automatic, the lamp will always be on. In daylight extra bright, it will be empty after half an hour to an hour. Then it just starts to get dark. Regarding the control with the Garmin, there is also only the option to switch it on automatically as soon as the Garmin (Edge 1030) starts, or the timer starts. So then you have to manually switch on and off which is not really convenient on the Garmin. You can use the buttons on the lamp itself. Because the battery level on the Garmin is also not displayed properly (according to Garmin, the lamp is always empty or almost empty), the whole point of the link is lost. You have to pay a lot more for that.

This is my 2nd Bontrager Flare RT in 3 years. Before this the 1st model, now since October 2019 this Flare RT model. Both have broken down after +/- 1.5 years. Both the same problem, after charging they do not turn on. And no, is not because of the cord etc. Very mediocre quality for this price. Service and delivery from Mantel is top!

I am very satisfied. The light meets my expectations. I was only a little confused when I started cycling my Garmin Forerunner not only connected to the cadence sensor (and vibrated), but again and a lamp icon appeared. Then I had only noticed that I can operate the light from the watch (which is purely practical erbietet; man kammt under sleeve and Hanschuh eh not ran). I also wondered in the office that something always flashes red. Well, that was the automatic mode of the light. How to turn it off, I had to read up. Now everything is set up the way it suits my needs. I have no open wishes!

After wearing out several cheap taillights that were far below the price level of this one, I thought I would go for a more expensive bulb. At first, I wondered why this bulb is so much more expensive than 20-30 euro lights, for example. After 1 week of use, I can say that the rear light has already paid for itself. What a light! I turned on the light sensor, so it uses 'day flash' during the day and switches to 'night flash' when dusk sets in. Even the night flash is very visible as it is constantly on low and the flashes are slightly brighter. All in all, this lamp is worth its price. In case you doubt whether you think 50 euros is too much for a rear light, I can tell you that this is really a great little device that is worth its money.

It took quite a bit of effort to pair the Flare with my Garmin Edge 830 . And once paired it doesn't actually work fine. Once you start a ride it always forces light even during the day and this is very irritating for people riding behind you because it flashes very brightly. And it's very difficult to turn it off right then. And recently during a ride in the dark I get the message on my Garmin: battery low. Right after this notification, a motorcycle cop drove next to me and fined me because the taillight didn't work! So this does not work well either. I now disconnected the light from my Garmin and it does exactly what you want it to do: give good bright light and blink or steady light when you want. What is really good is that this lamp burns very brightly!

This taillight is very good. Small, light but highly visible. It's clear that the studies carried out by Bontrager to select the right wavelength and flash sequence were well done: motorists have moved further away from me since I've had this accessory. Autonomy is very good: as a cyclist, I only use the light for about 1 hour a day, and in these conditions I can go 2 weeks without recharging. The luminosity sensor is very practical: no need to stop and change the lighting sequence when the sun comes up or goes down. My only complaint is that the mounting system is only designed for a seat tube. As I have a saddle shock absorber, the light is positioned too low. It would have been a good idea to include an under-seat mount like Olight does, for example.

I have the light on my Bontrager helmet.it can be switched in different lighting levels. The control via the Garmin app I have not yet tried. The price is not exactly cheap. As helmet lighting, the light is sufficient.you should use it but only use as additional lighting.

The light definitely grabs the attention of cyclist's worst enemy, the car driver. It's very bright and the lightning patter does the rest. I hesitated for a long time before choosing this lamp to increase my visibility on the bike. I only use it during the day. The format is very compact. Power and autonomy are excellent. Once attached to the seat tube, it doesn't move.

Super light that I highly recommend. I was able to test it out on a country road at night with fairly thick fog, and I was always well seen by cars, which left a good gap between me and them as I passed. Garmin GPS light control is effective, even without the dedicated app. The light attaches easily to a seatpost, and is difficult to attach elsewhere (bikepacking bag, for example).

Since I was so satisfied with my first Flare, when it broke down I immediately purchased a new one. Some may find the Flare a little too bright, but the slogan "Show yourself or you will be seen" applies here. I even use the Flare occasionally during the day. A top product as far as I am concerned.
