SRAM GX Eagle

After a branch between my previous NX derailleur completely destroyed it, it was time for an upgrade. My previous bike also had a 2nd generation GX group so this was the choice for the new derailleur. It shifts much smoother than an NX. Adjustment is a point of interest but works out perfectly. If your derailleur is broken like mine, be sure to check your derailleur pad! It was no longer straight and caused bad shifting on random gears. New one on and all problems were gone. Very pleased with my purchase. Thanks for the fast delivery yesterday. Today I can already hit the single tracks.

Got this to replace my SX shifter which wasn't shifting right - the GX is a big improvement and the newest version here is a great price for GX. Haven't had it long by I've used it for 6 or 7 muddy rides and shifting is still excellent.

I bought this to replace my NX on my Ghost ebike which was constantly needing attention. Really easy to fit even for someone like me with very limited knowledge in the mechanics side of things and it's been on the trigger every gear change. Smooth and reliable with a classy look.

Precise changes, no slop or vagueness. Weighs a few grams more than higher specification models but is a fraction of the price, which is good since I'm replacing a damaged one as the result of clipping a tree stump. Thought I'd take the opportunity to go for the 52T so when my 3rd chain wears out and my cassette is due for replacement I can get a slightly wider gear range.

Buy to replace an ex1 derailleur (very expensive cassette) Coupling with an Nx cassette does the job perfectly and will be much cheaper in the future!

Upgraded from sx as I managed to bend it out on the trail. Easy set up, feels much more robust as it’s more aluminium than plastic. Perfect shifting so far!

Bought this as an upgrade to my sram SX rear mech along with the GX shifter. I recently bought the GX 12 speed cassette aswell so aside form the crank arms I’m fully running the GX system now and I’m extremely happy with the set up. The rear mech itself is noticeably smoother when shifting in comparison to the SX model.

Going for a ride on Sunday morning and finding that your derailler no longer shifts as desired.... everyone knows that feeling. Coming home and immediately scouring the net in search of a successor. After reading some articles, I opted for the GX version, in its 52T version, which should be a bit sturdier than the 50T version. I quickly compared prices and ended up ordering from Mantel for a very good price. Ordered on Sunday evening and delivered on Monday afternoon! That really makes a man happy :-)

This rear derailleur is the cheap solution for using 12speed, but is a good solution!

I had an early SRAM GX Eagle mech that died when the chain jumped and jammed between the cage and the jockey wheel. This replacement is the new, improved version with a ridge on the jockey wheel to prevent this happening. Best price on the internet too!
