The best mudguards for on a road bike
Super good mudguards
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
highly recommended
Because the front mudguard stops at the fork, when cycling on wet surfaces from a speed of about 25 km/h, the water is simply thrown up in front of the fork and mudguard and still partly ends up on the face/body. All in all happy with the purchase though, makes cycling in wet weather or road conditions much more enjoyable.

German, solid, no more wet backs
Great mudguards, SKS is just German solidity. Nice thing is that they are adjustable and therefore fit almost any frame.
Pros & Cons

Great part!
Fine wing. I only use the rear mudguard.

Perfecte spatborden voor de racefiets
Doen precies waar je ze voor koopt: je rug en benen droog houden van het spatwater. Super makkelijk te installeren.

A pretty good addition for cycling in rain or wet conditions
The racing blades look sleek and are easy to install. The adjustment takes some time. A sufficient distance (1.5 cm) to the tyre is needed to prevent the blades from rubbing against the tyre while cycling. This did happen to me during the first rides, causing an annoying noise. It is necessary to tighten the rubber bands quite a bit to allow less play in the fastening. It may also be necessary to adjust after several hours of use. When the wind is strong, my experience is that your shoes still get wet from splashing water, but less so than when cycling without blades. In calmer weather, my shoes stay reasonably dry. My jacket stays nice and clean. So an improvement, but with rain or a wet road surface you still have to clean your bike after a ride.

Keep your back dry at an affordable price
Pros & Cons

Very good value for money, good protection for both bike and rider
I've already tried several mudguards, and this one seems to be the best suited to road bikes for wet weather and winter.

Top purchase, really worth it
The rear driver will also enjoy your purchase.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good product, robust, lots of settings.
Quite long to adjust the first time, but it's also an advantage because it's long to adjust because you can adapt them just right. For my information, I use them on a Giant TCR 2021, and they fit just under the down tube.

I no longer go out without
Nice sleek mudguard set, at a good price the rear mudguard is very easy to fit. The front mudguard I had a bit more trouble with due to my 28 milimetre tyres rubbing against the plastic leg ends, in the end this almost completely worked out, now only at bumps I hear an occasional noise. This is not annoying and does not get in the way of morale.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Price/quality definitely recommended
This set of mudguards is a bestseller for a reason. For the price, you get solid material that is quite easy to install. And I do indeed keep it much drier when cycling! I just wonder if it is qualitative enough to last long with quasi daily use.

I would highly recommend these if you need mudguards and your bike doesnt have mudguard mounts.
This is my second set and as I really liked the 1st ones on my other bike. Purchased the matt black and they look great on my road bike. Nice and light for mudguards, extremely adjustable and endorsed by my club for winter club rides. Once on and adjusted to shape and size, they are so easy to remove and put back on if required.

Quick goo for the wet months
In wet road conditions, I still arrived at work wet. Now, when wet, I stay nice and dry. Even my shoes stay dry.

Good wings, takes some time to adjust.
Very good mudguards. Looks nice on the bike. Hard to adjust on an aero frame, though.

Nice and easy to mount mudguards
Convenient to use and looks good.
Pros & Cons

it's a good product
simple 23 tyre mounting, I took pro XL, impeccable. the front does the job, for the rear no miracle you'll get water splashing on the rear of the frame, that's my case, but at least the back stays clean, I added collars for extra strength, see photos.

I expected better, I would not buy it back
Honestly I expected better, doing an outing with only wet asphalt (no rain) I still got my shoe covers completely wet

Bike with 32 mm tyres they fit just fine. Been away for a week but not a drop of rain so how they protect I don't know....

Dry racing bikes with easy mounting.
I use my road bike to bike to work. Then you are not waiting for wet clothes. These fenders help very well and your road bike stays looking like a road bike.
Pros & Cons

Excellent
Compared to other mudguards these are a breeze to fit and adjust. They give good protection from wet weather on my winter racer.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Nice convenient product.
Does its job, permanently attached with webbing straps for commuting bike. Rear fender could be longer to get the perfect fit to the wheel.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Nice fender set!
Fine fenders that do what they are supposed to do. Adjusting the front mudguard took quite a bit of time, as it soon hits the downtube of the frame. At least on my bike (Tarmac SL7) it just fit.
4 / 5
Very good
Good product, protects very well. The fit was a little difficult as the stems at the back had to be extended to the maximum.
Pros & Cons

Great product, works well!
Drove it once, no complaints.
Pros & Cons

Saves a wet back and some wet buttocks
Great fenders and stay tight with the tension rubbers.
Pros & Cons

Top product, easy to assemble and sits securely
Easy to mount mudguard, which sits securely on the bicycle. Gives protection from wetness and dirt during bad(er) weather. I am very satisfied with this product!
Pros & Cons

Solid fenders - worth the money
Solid fenders that are surprisingly sturdy despite its appearance. Keeps your legs and shoes dry reasonably well. The only thing I find a bit off about it is that the fender at your rear wheel is a bit short at the front. This can cause the back of your lower legs and shoes to get wet/dirty eventually.
Pros & Cons

Great mudguards
Great size and very easy to fit
Pros & Cons

Sks race blade, does what it is supposed to do.
Mounted on a fixie bike. Sits very nice/tight around the tires. Mounting was pretty fast, too.

Fine fenders that do what they are supposed to do.
Nice set of fenders that now allow me to go to work year round on my road bike. Easy to attach and weighs nothing.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Never so dirty again
After a lot of ass-savers the have now bought these fenders for the autumn months, I now get off the bike reasonably clean
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Super product, even for 33mm
Very easy to install and also looks great on the bike.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Best on the market
Read the manual well for safety. XL definitely not too thick for my 28mm tyres.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Great product for rear, but be careful with the front mudguard.
Good product for the price, just be careful with the front mudguard. It came loose on me while cycling because I touched it with my shoe in front of a traffic light. The next moment my front wheel blocked because the mudguard got stuck, leaving me on the ground.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Very good purchase
I fitted these, fits well and while driving everything stays in place
Pros & Cons

Great set for the wet months
It took some figuring out before I found the right set for my road bike. There is a lot on offer and the differences are not always clear. This set meets my expectations and gives sufficient protection against dirt and wetness. The set is easy to put on and take off.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Top product
Top product. Use the bike much more than before
Pros & Cons
2 / 5
Nice slip-on
Initially very satisfied. After a few rides and time to reflect, not so satisfied anymore. The boards could be a lot longer. Actually, you can shorten them nicely with a saw and some sandpaper. They could also be rounder, at least this way you fully protect the bike and rider. If you decide to fit your bike with mudguards at all, it's best to make it fully functional. After all, fitting a racing bike with boards is equivalent to swearing in a church, according to many riders. So let's get it right then too. I am in favour of mudguards and the whining doesn't bother me.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Fine wings
Too bad the rods are just too short, making them impossible to mount appropriately on my road bike with rim brakes
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top mudguards for the road bike!
Initial fitting/adjustment takes a little time, but after that you (de)assemble them in no time. The matt version is hardly noticeable. They don't weigh much and protect adequately. Do not rattle. Only the seat tube and bottom bracket still get dirty.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Does perfectly what it is supposed to do.
It took some puzzling to adjust and assemble it properly. After one-time adjustment, it is easy to (dis)assemble. Amazing how well it keeps the water and dirt away. No more wet backs and feet in these wet times of year. Mounted on Trek Emonda SL6 with 28 mm tyres.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Useful in wet conditions, but nicer without it
Assembly and disassembly is easy. Rear legs on the short side for me on a 60 cm Bulls Harrier from 2010
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Best year-round cycling investment I've made.
Because the mudguards can be adjusted at various points, you can actually mount them tightly around your wheels at all times, which means less loss of aerodynamics and optimal protection against splashing water and dirt. Front mudguard is of great added value, saves a lot of dirt in your steering head and on your legs and feet.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Very solid

Easy-to-fit mudguard. Keep your buttocks and back clean.
Pros & Cons

Highly recommended, should have bought this earlier.
Does what it needs to do, nice endurance rides in the Dutch weather!
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Dry back, dirty front
Bought these for my road bike. I was previously used to the mudrocker from on my gravel bike, which is both longer at the back and has some kind of extension at the front. The Raceblade now keeps my rear end dry, but because it is too short at the front and rear, my seattube, drivetrain and my front end (splashing water) still get dirty. Of course, that's also partly the fault of the bike itself, which has no frame to install longer mudguards.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Look no Further - you won't be dissappointed.
Excellent Product - has become the 'Standard' Mudguards for this Winter with my Cycling Club colleagues - all happy with Quality / Performance / Fitting / Price
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
A purchase you think, if only I had bought them earlier!
A fellow cyclist had these on his bike and after some explanation I was convinced. Last weekend I cycled 70 km in the rain and I am super satisfied with them. They do their job super, I hardly have to clean the bike as a large part is absorbed by the mudguards.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top purchase if you want to keep cycling even in wet weather
Mounting it is a bit of work, but not difficult and afterwards it is easy to dismantle and quickly put it back on again next year. After a ride on wet roads, the bike is still clean and dry and the chain a lot less dirty. A must for anyone who wants to cycle through autumn/winter. It does look less beautiful, but beautiful cyclists only ride their bikes in the sun ;)
Pros & Cons

Easy solution against splashing water!
very good product!
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Great set
Great set only when wet and windy, a lot of water still blows onto your legs via the front. Could go a bit further at the front
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
top product
easy to mount also on a cyclocross bike with rim brakes. Just don't know if the mounting clips can be bought separately if the plastic breaks. Otherwise very satisfied.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Signed dry cycling around.
Top product. Took me a while to get the adjustment under control, though. Just took a little Allen with training. Had to shorten the front and rear mudguard though.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Sufficient
Universal mudguard set, fits in this case road bike with rim brakes. Mudguard attachment although very universal, less stable (vibration/movement in mudguard)
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Great will fit most biked
Once fitted work fine . Good water protection . But don’t really fit oval front forks like on my Ridley but make em fit with a bit of cutting. Did the job.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
easy to adjust and install
easy to fit and remove ideal for cycling in wet weather without splashing your face and back
Pros & Cons
2 / 5
Good idea, execution could have been much better and modification for frame protection needed.
It was some(hour) work to adjust the Fenders. Was almost impossible to get these mounted symmetrically. After 1st ride in the rain a bit sagged(despite really tightened well) which made them crooked again and moving the end sanded the paint off the frame in 2 places. On mounting also due to sagging scratches on frame. Another pity is that you have to fill your whole frame with protective film. Which is therefore also visible to a greater or lesser extent when you don't use the mudguards. Would have been better if the mudguard had also had stabilisation at seat post/vertical tube. Edges of Fenders are also very sharp and damage the bike quickly.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Good protection.
Does what it needs to do, fine.
Pros & Cons

Highly recommended if you cycle in bad weather too !
Fast delivery and well packaged ! Mudguards hardly stand out ! Great product at a great price

Very flexible adjustable mudguard. The mudguard stops splashing water so you get much less wet feet. Unobtrusive mudguard.

Am happy with it! Good investment.
Satisfied, no more splashes on my back and rump
Pros & Cons

Good and easy to apply .
Installed once, no problems, protects well against rain. I did have to adjust the rubbers to fasten the mudguards, as they did not fit nicely around the frame. Now they fit well and stay in place better.
Pros & Cons

Are easy to customise Stay in place Easy assembly
Pros & Cons

Super comfortable
Should have bought much earlier, nice workout outside in winter very nice!
Pros & Cons

superblades for the winter months.
I bought them because you have a lot of splashing water and sand in winter, especially along the coast. Now that's not a bad thing, but now my back stays dry and my frame reasonably clean. Everyone knows that sand, is disastrous for the vital parts of your bike, and with these racing blades you keep that to a minimum. I am super satisfied. Better than an asesaver
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Perfect
Easy to install and probably fits almost every bike due to its system. Once on your bike, it does its job perfectly.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top product!
I should have bought this one years earlier
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good quality, rattle-free, adjustment is reasonable
Front end went on easily. Due to the bent rear fork, the bars are just too short. As a result, I had to take off a small piece near the brake. It does sit firmly and doesn't rattle and you don't get a mark on your back/ass. An option for longer rods (if the hardware stores were loose I could see if welding rods have the same but) would be nice.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
clean as riding in the summer
Even though the road is wet you get off like it's summer, no splashes on clothes.
5 / 5
Excellent quality
much better than I expected fit my Pinarello Gan and have proved successful in recent bad weather. Would recommend to anyone looking for a set of mudguards
4 / 5
The mudguards are good but are not easy to set up. They are very close to my wheel so fiddly.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good Mudguards
No Issues , easy to install. Competitive pricing. Fast delivery to UK. Extension bars could be by 1cm longer to be perfect.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Easy to use and very sturdy
These are great. Can be fitted to pretty much any road bike in minutes. Once on they fit tightly and don't rattle around at all.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Adjustable, easy to take off and on
I've had "removable" mudguards before, but they weren't really. These though, so easy to remove! Super easy to adjust, then when you want to take them off, you undo 2 straps and that's it. 10 seconds and you're done!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good handy set up
These have plenty of adjtment.. fairly easy to use. Good buy
4 / 5
Great for keeping spray off you
Bought these as previous mudguards always appeared to catch on the wheels and were flimsy. These are fiddly for 1st fit and I had to trim the rear one. But once set they are easy to put on and remove and do the job well.
Pros & Cons
1 / 5
dissatisfied
bought for cycling in wet conditions but they are in the shed. On the front mudguard, the adjusters run into the spokes and on the rear mudguard, the rods are too short to fit properly into the adjusters. The top rods are a mm in and go out while cycling. Unfortunately, still a wet and cold butt.
Pros & Cons

Great mudguards - easy to fit and forget
Great mudguards and a great price from Mantel - take your time setting them up correctly and then just fit and forget.

Fantastic mudguards for cycles without the normal fixings.
Very good at keeping the wet and dirt from soiling cloths and the cycle. Very easy to fit and remove
