Solid shoe for a wide foot
Strong shoe, on the first ride I had a sore spot where the top of the tongue rests against the instep, adjusting the buckle strap slightly and making the top buckle a little less tight remedied that

Top shoes
Always thought I would never be able to fit sidi shoes. But the mega variant fits me like a glove. Do take 1 size bigger than your normal shoe size.

Nice racing shoes with stiff sole and good adjustability
Besides the nice look, also very good and stiff racing shoes! Very satisfied with them, although I need to touch up some pressure points after a few rides. Bought almost 2 sizes larger, shoes come out rel small. During running I do experience that these are a bit wobbly - fortunately cycling with them more :) - but takes some getting used to. Furthermore, the number of - stepless - adjustment possibilities is great and also unlocking goes very smoothly due to the pressure (red button) and unlocking system (press both black buttons at the same time); the wind system works very smoothly: turn and push lever down; The sole is very stiff but not bothersome; the shoe offers sufficient ventilation during the ride; have not had a sweltering feeling even on hot days. for now, very satisfied with it! Price is a bit of a problem, but soon forgotten...

Good shoe
Finally a fitting shoe for high, wide feet

Good quality and beautiful.
The shoe fits like a glove. I have narrow feet. They cycle much more comfortably than my previous shoes. The tongue bends over at the top and grabs into your instep and it hurts. It seems to pass and is part of settling in.

Comfort and performance to match!
After discussions with the Mantel staff, the recommended size and the "MEGA" model were found to be correct. No more pain on long outings!

Fine shoe and good service from Mantel
Fitted several shoes in shop at Mantel. Got good advice on the fit of different brands and shoes. The white version of this shoe matches my bike perfectly, which made choosing this shoe not so difficult. The sole is super stiff and the fit very nice (although that is very personal, of course). The two twist closures work well and are fine to adjust. Sidi's twist closure takes some getting used to but soon you get the hang of how it works. I haven't cycled much with them yet but the hours I did use them were very pleasant! In addition, it is super nice that Mantel offers the guaranteed fit, so you know for sure that you will leave with a good shoe.

Comfortable, robust, stylish, good for wide feet
I had a lot of trouble finding shoes that suited my very wide feet. After trying on and returning several pairs from different brands (I was able to take advantage of Mantel's return system, which worked perfectly), I found what I was looking for with the Sidi Ergo Mega version. I've already done 1,000 kilometres in them, including outings >3,000 D+, and they haven't caused me any pain. They're comfortable, hold the foot well and the tightening system is thin and solid. There are no pressure points: the fit is even. The heel is held firmly. The leather, too, exudes quality and reliability. The only negative point is that ventilation could be improved. With a black colour as well, hot summer days are likely to be tricky in terms of foot perspiration. Otherwise, in terms of performance, it's in line with the price range, although I've tested, for example, the van rysel in the same range, which offer much better performance.

The sturdiness and at the same time comfort of the shoe give a boost during bike rides.
At Mantel, you get to try on the shoes for a few rides to make sure they fit. This luxury is more than worth it. This service and helpfulness of the salesperson at Mantel instil confidence. "He who fits the shoe puts it on"; absolutely true!

Good shoes that I would recommend to people like me who have wide feet.
Shoes suitable for all outings, including the longest. No discomfort or pain. A word of warning for those who use look pedals with look grip cleats: friction may cause a squeaking noise.

Top shoes with racy fit that fall very small
I have been using sidi shoes for many years. The fit is perfect for me. These ergo 5 are close-fitting with enough room for the toes. The shoes are very easy to adjust. The fit is racy, hard and narrow but still enough room for the toes. I used to wear size 45, however, for these I needed size 46. So fall very small (normal shoe size 44). The outside is smooth patent leather which is very easy to keep clean. The sole is not ventilated. The double closure works perfectly, but does feel a bit fragile. The front Velcro closure does very little. Very lightweight shoes.
