My previous xt gave up the ghost After a branch in my derailleur . After some wrenching I got out of the woods but too badly battered . Stay loyal to xt because of the good price/quality ratio !

Very good quality product, not too expensive, good looking, chain lock mechanism. However, there are no paper instructions, you have to scan a qr code and go to the website. Installed on a 2018 Giant Full-E, I recommend it.

Kwa shifting behaviour, not very different from standard Deore. Both shift very well and smoothly. Just slightly better build quality. The derailleur wheels have better bearings, it is a bit lighter and it has the shadow rd+ chain stabiliser system. Something my previous Deore RD didn't have. After 150km, couldn't find anything negative yet.

I bought this derailleur for a 1x10 setup with an 11-48 cassette. It performs fine, grabs all the cranks and gets on the biggest ones effortlessly. It shifts very fast, 'tap and go'. The price is fine too, a top-end derailleur for under 100 euros.

Recently fitted a 1 x 11 drive to my old and very trusty XC bike... this changer coupled with XT shifter works a treat. XT has always been super reliable and no-nonsene in my view

Went for a 10 speed set up with an 11-42 cassette using the shimano XT 10 speed with the RAD cage upgrade. Worked quite well but the amount of chin wrap was not great. Decided to get the 11 speed. Works much better, totally compatable with the 10 speed system
