A faultless performance
The comfort of a flat pedal with the stability and performance of an automatic pedal

Very nice pedals
After buying a 2nd bike for rougher trips, I was looking for new pedals. Also have a set of Crankbrother Stamp 7 flat pedals which are really great and a set of Crankbrother Candy 3 pedals which do fine, but always lacked the feeling a bit and therefore never really dared to push. Now with the Mallet E I do. The larger platform makes it feel like a flat pedal, but you do have the security of clipping. Combined with easy release cleats, I'm completely won over.

Great trail pedal
Coming from an old set of eggbeaters, these have the same long spindle length but more support. They’re just as easy to clip in and out of.

Perfect support, nice float and easy snap on and off
Pedals like them very much, was looking for a bit more support that with Shimano spd and also just a bit more leeway with foot on pedal and in addition better resistance to mud, well that's succeeded with these pedals despite being well engaged very easy to click out at small angle.

Easy to get on with, nice cleat release mechanism

Happy so far
Have used them on a couple of rides. I'm wearing 5.10 hellcat and had to use the spacer. Also have screws showing only 1-2 threads, anything else and there is no chance of emergency exit, due to too much grip. They do feel more secure and stable than my previous spd m530, and can tell the difference feeling the platform on my feet.

Great pedals - long spindle is a must!
Awesome set of pedals. For anyone with larger size feet, it is definitely worth getting the LS version, as unclipping on the rear foot when pedals are level is made far easier with the longer spindle letting your foot not get stopped by the crank arm.
