Fast delivery of the bike. Just needed to straighten handlebars and put pedals on. Done like this.

Perfect school bike. Can take a beating and fine for the daily ride to school and football.

Seats and cycles fine on its own, but from the start had problems with the bike, made rattling noise, mudguard not fixed properly, stand came loose etc. Lighting is worthless, hardly noticeable, battery almost empty after a few nights' use. So you have to regularly go to work with screwdriver and socket to insert different types of batteries - out of date. Inner tube had to be replaced after 3 months because valve was loose. Service from Mantel was very good, by the way.

Day a fine bike, but I had m delivered. Assembly (finishing) was then done by the Post NL guys. They didn't have the right stuff and they forgot to put back a cap on the handlebars, for instance. In short, I first had to straighten the handlebars myself. Getting the saddle right etc. Which meant I could only 'test' the bike once they were gone. So my tip is... pick up the bike at Mantel's, because they have skilled personnel who will make your bike ready to ride. By the way, Mantel's promise that they deliver the bike roadworthy is not true.

After 11 years of having a heavy bike with no gears, I decided to buy this bike. It rides very nice and easy with the 3 gears. Very happy with this bike, should have done much earlier!

Great bikes these are, just bought 1 for my daughter, before this she also had a cortina and she is totally happy with it, sturdy and good safe bike, immediately had the monkey mounted on the back, ready to go to school again

I don't like all that electric stuff. To me, a bike should be a bike, sturdy and robust. I have been riding it for a little over a month now. And as everyone knows, March stirs its tail and I have braved every type of weather our little country has to offer. From slippery conditions to heavy gusts of wind I have had to deal with on my way to work, but nothing is too crazy for this beast. The tires offer good grip and the gearing shifts effortlessly and offers fine support in windy conditions and steep inclines. Not to mention the handlebar lock, that I could have lived so long without this invention is now truly a mystery to me. This is truly after sliced bread one of the best inventions around. No more fumbling with your handlebars when you want to put on your headphones on the road, a turn of the knob and presto. And with the fabulous stand this bike comes with, you can easily put it anywhere. In any case, my summer looks sunny, not only because of climate change, but also because of this bike.

Totally awesome. With a crate on the front, the heavy backpack and possibly gym bag can go in there. Ideal for school children (VO). And more children think so because there are many Cortina bikes in the schoolyard. So it is wise to choose a different color crate otherwise it will be a long search for your bike.

Bike was not available at the time we were in the store, we received an email when it was deliverable again. Ordered and got it a few days later. PostNL completely assembled the bike upon delivery. Great service!

Delightful bike. The only downside was a too tightly adjusted headset that made it steer very heavy. Then it is inconvenient that a bike was ordered online.

Bike for my son who had his first day of high school today. Bike has a coaster brake which he likes better than hand brakes. The crate (accessory) on the front is handy for carrying school supplies. His experience is already good, but his one year older brother had already received an identical bike last year.

Cortina is popular with teenagers. However, qualitatively it is not a best bike. Notices especially that there is quick rusting. My son does not find this a problem and neither do I as long as this bike lasts his high school time.

Bought the U4 for the 2nd time and is a great bike for shorter distances.

The Cortina U4 Transport bike scores pretty well if you do preliminary research on the Internet. In the physical store (Den Bosch) they take the time for you and think with you, even if you do not buy the most expensive bikes in the range. When using it, I had to get used to the gearing, but I am so far very satisfied with this bike, as far as I'm concerned great value for money.

Yes I would definitely recommend the bike. It has 3 positions and because the saddle is really nice this bike is perfect for long distances.
