Continental Grand Prix

I have been riding the Grand Prix tires 25 mm for a year now. Have cycled 3000 km with them and zero punctures. The tires are holding up well. They can definitely last another 3000 km. I like them very much.

The tire has just been on for 1000 km and then it goes flat anyway. On a clam shell, of course. The claim that punctures are a thing of the past is not true.

As expected, this tire is just as nice as the Conti GP and the Conti GP 4000 - 25mm. Now it is even nicer to ride with +/- 1 bar less pressure which icm a Latex inner tube gives a very nice ride.

Puncture resistance I fortunately cannot yet judge. Tire is not stiff but nice and supple which gives great comfort.

Just a fine, good tire. No trouble putting it on, nice amount of grip. Cycled with it in winter so far, rarely had the fear of sliding.

I've ridden about 200 miles on these tyres in winter conditions and I'm impressed with the grip and ride quality. No cuts or signs of wear so far.

Excellent tire for its price. Driven about 300 km now in all types of weather conditions, and very satisfied with it. Good grip and not too much resistance. A bit stiff to put on the rim, but that could also be due to the latter. Good all-rounder, very satisfied with it!

Ridden 1000 km on this new tire. Before this I had the GP5000 from Continental And I notice that it is not inferior to that tire! According to the specs it would have a higher rolling resistance. This is probably true, but for the recreational cyclist that I am, this does not bother me. What is noticeable is that this tire seems to wear out less quickly than the GP5000. Considering that it is cheaper to buy than the GP5000, I am very satisfied with the tire! I have the 28mm version and regularly ride on gravel. I have not had a flat yet, so I am very satisfied with it!

With previous set of tires driven 6000 km without a flat. With this set, after 600 km, I already had 4 punctures; 3 in the front and 1 in the back. That can hardly be a coincidence anymore, can it?

A great tire, almost no more punctures. Front replaced after 12000 km without a puncture and rear after 9000 km the first puncture. Rolling resistance seems to be less but I don't really notice that much. I don't want any other tires. Also super cheap

Previously rode Rubino Pro for 2 years. Now wanted to try the Grand Prix. Both tires are in the same price range and are not much different. Maybe the Rubino has a little more grip in corners. Both have low rolling resistance. Puncture resistance both good. I have now cycled 700 km with Grand Prix, so I can't say much about durability. Rubino had good durability. I replaced them after 4500 km, but they could have lasted longer. All in all, I have a slight preference for the Grand Prix, but it makes very little difference.

When it comes to new tires, I always end up with Continental. Especially in this price range. Solid, reliable on every road surface for road bikes. But also the same reliability in wet and dry weather. Its predecessor was slightly less "stiff" and therefore slightly more favorable (especially when changing the wheel). But with this 25" I also roll nicely on the road.

Great tyres, the black chilli grip is fantastic and they are a pretty comfortable tyre for longer rides.

I have used these tyres on bikes in the UK and abroad and found them to be fast enough for training, hard wearing with a good level of puncture resistance.

These tires are great in wet and dry and really good value

I have been using these tyres for a number of years now and keep going back to them. The only down side is that the walls thread after 2 years. This has happened 3 times over the past 6 years almost to the day. 2 years isn’t bad though and well worth it due to the comfort and handling.
