Nice, well-fitting pants with race fit and nice chamois for long distances. Pants are warmly lined and even at 0 degrees no problems with the cold.

The first one I ordered was too small, but I was able to return it without any problem and have a larger size delivered. This one immediately fitted like a glove. Despite feeling thin, the materials protect against the cold very well. Different parts of the trousers consist of different materials, according to how they catch wind. The fabric also runs higher on the back and chest than summer trousers, protecting against any cold that might creep under the jacket. The nice wide shoulder straps do not cut. Fine trousers that have already done a good number of kilometres with me.

Used these trousers several times now in winter weather. Provides both warmth against temperature and wind. The trousers are not water-repellent so they do get soaked after a trip in the rain. But because of the warmth provided, this is not a problem.

Beautiful trousers that offer good protection from the elements even in winter weather. Water- and windproof. Convenient zips at the bottom of the trouser legs make them easy to remove, even when wet.

What lovely trousers. Nice and warm, but not in a way that you experience heat. The temperature is just irrelevant. Feels nice. The size is a bit small though, so order bigger! The chamois is simply top notch. After not cycling for several weeks not a penny!

After a short ride: fits very well, good balance between elasticity and compression. No wrinkles and no rubbing. Seat cushion rather thick for me, but not spongy. I ordered XL for my thin top and strong bottom 184cm/75 kg. The legs should not be tighter. The straps are rather tight compared to the competition, but not annoying on the bike. Sufficiently warm at a damp and cold 5 degrees, but possibly too thin for comfortable tours around freezing point.

I have 2 shorts by Castelli in size XL and they fit me perfectly (186m, 76kg). I like tight cycling clothes, but these shorts in XL were way too tight. I also found the fabric on the thighs a bit thin. Returned them, unfortunately.

The trousers fit perfectly, are warm and water-repellent. The fantastic chamois completes the party . In short, the perfect trousers for (long) rides in autumn and winter.

Great trousers that are a good fit. I am 189cm and 79kg and XL fits well. With the first cold this year obviously put them on. You do sometimes wonder if the people at Castelli ever put their own gear on because the lower back gets cold from draughts agv too low through mesh fabric on back. 10 cm less mesh and the trousers would have been perfect. You can actually see it in the photos. Mesh obviously breathes better than insulation fabric, but at the low back you don't want that. So all in all, basically a mediocre pair of trousers. The cheaper ROS does not have this problem, but it does not have the perfect chamois in these trousers.

I am very satisfied with these winter trousers from Castelli. I already did some long rides in temperatures around freezing and always stayed nice and warm (I combine the trousers with the Alpha Ros 2 jacket). I didn't ride in heavy rain showers yet, but in light rain and splashing water, the trousers proved sufficiently water-repellent. The trousers aptly live up to Castelli's 'Rain or Shine' principle, as I don't feel too hot in them either. Furthermore, I am also very pleased with the comfort. Castelli customers will know that the clothes usually run small and this is certainly true of the Sorpasso Ros too, so bear this in mind.

I only have Castelli cycling trousers , but the trousers with the Progetto X2 Air chamois are better quality than the Castelli's with the Kiss Air chamois . The Progetto X2 Air chamois makes long cycling trips of more than 2 hours possible , that's because of the comfort of the Progetto chamois .
