Super practical tool
Ordered immediately from Mantel after seeing this at the local bike shop. Has worked on tyres from Hutchinson, and from Victoria (on which I had already broken 2 tyre levers). Super tool, clear and handy to use. Only tested it on aluminium rims, no idea if it works equally well/safely on carbon rims.

Top tool
Having broken my fingers on a Conti GP5000 S TR to be fitted on my wide carbon fields, I ordered these pliers. With some cynicism and fear of damaging my rims. Upon receipt I cleaned the rim well and then put the tyre on using the pliers. It was super easy, fast and safe. I should have made this purchase years (and many sore thumbs) earlier.

Indispensable when fitting road bike outer tubes.
Makes it easy to mount an outer tyre on your road bike. The last part of the tyre, which is impossible to get over the rim flange with your thumbs, can be fitted smoothly with this tool. Do work in small steps and do not start in the middle of the part of the tyre yet to be fitted.

Top product
Should have bought it earlier. No more fiddling with new tyres

Handy tool
Already tried various options to get the last bit of gravel outer tyre on, especially when on the move. This tool seems the most suitable so far although the size is a bit on the large side to carry it in your shirt.

If tire levers no longer do the trick.
Handy little tool, especially for stiff tubeless tires. Saves stiff thumbs again.

Saves a lot of time and sore hands.
Using this tool, I managed to get a very stiff MTB tire on my rim all by myself. Just make sure you watch a tutorial on Youtube that explains how to do it with the pliers. It takes a bit of technique, but once you have mastered it, it will be on your rim in no time. A flexible tire can be put on in no time with the pliers.

I’ve never installed a new pair of Conti GP5000 easier in my life!
I wish I would’ve known about this took much earlier. Mounting a pair of GP5000 was an absolutely breeze, and kept my TPU inner tubes safe as well.

do what it is supposed to do; saves swearing and sore thumbs/fingers
this thing is really the extra hand you often seem to need to get (tubeless) tires on the rim. It took a few minutes to get "the knack", but after that it was easy. Putting tires on without sore thumbs, what a pleasure :)
Pros & Cons

Not for wide tires
For wide mountain bike tires not very useful. Still, back to using the classic tire levers.

Excellent invention.
The name says it all itself he tire pliers so fully meets its description. No more sore hands

Super handy tool
When the tire is too tight around the rim (certain tires) or when it is cold it becomes a real chore to get the tire on the rim. With these pliers you can get the tire on without damaging the rim.

Should have been there 20 years earlier.
Had seen a bicycle repairman working with it. Had to lay a stiff MTB tire myself. Lay it on with the fingers until you can't go any further. The last part you have to put on the rim piece by piece with the pliers. So not the whole piece at once. Took me less than a minute.

Super part, easy handling so makes the tire change fun
I got the new tires without problems with this tire setter on it also the Tubless tires that go so hard on it.

Great tool for a (too) tight outer tire.
This tool works great if you can't manage to put an outer tire on a rim with your bare hands.

Super convenient and a real must-have with a tubeless tire!
Useful with any tire, but if you want to mount a tubeless tire on your road bike then this is a real must have. These simple pliers make mounting so much easier! Highly recommended.

No more pain in your fingers! Ideal for the elderly.
This is a really useful tool. The Schwalbe tires are very tight around the wheel and I couldn't get them back on with any ease. And my fingers then started to hurt really badly. Only with the tire levers. And then there is the risk of puncturing the tire again.
Pros & Cons

Handy piece of inexpensive tool
Taking a while to try out how it works, but then it works very nicely
Pros & Cons

Got the most impossible tire on the rim anyway.
After 3 days of trying every possible trick to get my stiff Schwalbe one tires on the rim I ordered this tool. 5 minutes after delivery the tire was on the rim.
Pros & Cons

cheap, not super efficient
I bought this product because it wasn't expensive at all. But in my opinion, it's too limited. As soon as there's a little too much resistance, the "hook" slips and it's complicated to retract tubeless tires that are a little too tight.

Handy product for tire mounting
Works perfectly and it does not damage your carbon rim.

A super piece of handiness
My daughter just doesn't have enough strength to put the strap back on. With this it goes on super.
Pros & Cons

Highly recommended for those who are not experts in changing tires.
Doubtingly bought because was this really going to be better than the ordinary tire levers, but really super handy. No more messing around, even my 9 year old son can put the tire on the rim by himself. Too bad it's just too big to take with us on a bike ride, but glad we can use it at home.
Pros & Cons

Really a top product
Even I now get stiff outer tires on the rim. Is almost impossible to do with your hands. These tire tongs really work perfectly. Can really recommend them. Even for the ladies among us, putting the tires on is now doable. They are also friendly priced. Should not be missing in the toolbox.
Pros & Cons

Know what you are doing
I would not recommend this unless you know exactly what you are doing. If the outer tire is too tight, this will still not work well.

not my thing , no grip
I tried to use these when fitting a tubeless tire (road bike , conti GP5000) , but the tire popped off the tool. Might be handy for some tires but then it could probably be done by hand. Ended up using Schwalbe tire levers (the blue ones) which worked much better
Pros & Cons

A must-have tire mount when you don't have much strength in your hands.
Allows tire mounting to be completed without any risk of pinching the inner tube and without forcing.
Pros & Cons

I would say Koope-koope-koope that nifty thing.
I myself have not (thankfully) needed the tire helper yet. Coincidentally, on our bike ride today, a colleague had a flat tire. Then you find out that this tire aid is a great piece of equipment. When putting on the tire it takes quite a bit of hand force to get the last part of the tire on. With the tire tool the last part is a piece of cake, which requires hardly any force due to the leverage of the pliers.

It would have had to be invented if this tool didn't exist!
Useful for mounting certain tires such as BYWAY 47s, or for mounting on wooden rims, without having to hammer the rim and its thumbs!!!!
Pros & Cons

Real solution
Now I go cycling with peace of mind. If I get a flat tire I can now save myself. Before, there was no way I could get the tire back on the rim. My father picked me up 2 times. Fortunately both times in a place where the car could get to. Now no more stress with the thought of getting a flat tire in the middle of nowhere.
Pros & Cons

Fulfills its role even on stubborn tires, but leaves marks on the wheel
A product that serves its purpose, allowing you to mount tires that can't be mounted by hand. But the problem is that when you need a tool like this, even with it, you have to force it, which leaves marks on the wheels... So use this product as a last resort. If you can use your hands, at least they won't damage or mark your wheels.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
I found it disappointing.
I did not succeed in getting my tires off the Newmen rims, because the edges of the tire are clamped in the rim of the Newmen rims, nevertheless I did not succeed in getting tires off the rim, unfortunately. On my DT Swiss rims, on the other hand, it does work. Therefore 3 stars...
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good choice if you want to change tires properly and quickly
As expected he fulfills what he must do
Pros & Cons

Disappointing
Have had the tire aid for a few months now and used it 2 times. The first time it worked well. The second time was also the last time, because when putting a mtb tire (Racing Ralph) on a tubeless-ready rim, the device spontaneously broke in half. Disappointing ! So for the device only 1 star (preferably none, but that is not possible). For ordering at and delivery by Mantel I would give 5 stars, because that always goes flawlessly.
Pros & Cons

Super handy
No more messing around with putting your outer tire back on. Ideal! With a racing wheel it is more difficult to put it on the rim, but still much better than without this handy thing. I immediately recommended it to my cycling friends.

Rim piece
Tried all kinds of things to put a reluctant tire on a new wheel. Finally bought the tire tool. No result with this either, I pulled the rim edge of a new wheel crooked. So be careful when using that thing.

Mounting becomes a piece of cake
After the first use, I am a fan of this tool. I have tubeless ready rims (DT Swiss RR511) and mounting the tires can be a tricky job. With this tool, it was instantly fine. 10/10 for me!

Very easy to use. First time using this tool to get the last bit of a tubeless mtb tire over the rim. Usually the wringing and sweating if you have to do it with your hands. With this tool it was easy, piece by piece you pull the tire over the rim, without damaging your rim.

Handy tool, for home use. Maybe a little too big to take on bike trips.
