Really liked the Fonk 7. After delivery, I adjusted the handlebars myself, which was very easy with an Allen key.

I wanted a light bike with a low entry and with a number of gears. At Mantel I was very well informed about the options. I had to wait a few weeks until the bike was back in stock, but it was worth the wait. What a wonderful bike. I enjoy getting on my bike to work, to run errands, to exercise etc etc. The car really comes second now! Mantel: thanks for all the tips and advice. I am very satisfied!

Very fine bike: ride smoothly, the nexus gears are very good and fine riding experience.

Great bike, looks tight and rides comfortably. Only the shifting is sometimes a bit stiff, I need to have that adjusted. Finally, you do see damage easily, so think carefully where you put your bike. All in all, I recommend this model to anyone looking for a decent city bike!

Daughter is happy with it, green lettering would be nicer in a different color though. Rides fine, only the power of the rear brake is weak. Even after adjusting the rear brake, the braking power remains limited, brake lever is also not rigid enough, distorted when braking. Gears work the other way around than with a derailleur and front and rear brakes are reversed (rear brake lever is on the left) which takes some getting used to. Cable entry at the front of the frame is poorly finished, the entries come loose, this could be better.

I am very happy with my new bike. I am small so finding a good bike is always difficult. The staff at Mantel advised and helped me very well. It's very nice that you can try out the bikes. Because this is a lightweight bike, I can easily take it out of storage. Also, this bike has a handy front light since it is on top of the handlebars so it doesn't get damaged easily in bike racks. The only downside is that there is no cushioning in the handlebars and saddle, this takes some getting used to but for small bits of cycling this is certainly not a problem. Because of this you do get a lightweight bike in return!

Nice design light that comes on as soon as you get on your bike. Handy if you live in a wooded area. Upon delivery, the pedals are fitted by the delivery people and the bike is made ready to ride.

Take the bike easier. Had an electric bike before, but wanted more effort when cycling. This bike is very agile and light and just easy to use.

Very comfortable and easy to ride bike, however, if you raise the handle bar all the way up, front light is pointing upwards and can't be lowered. Also had an issue with the gearbox, the pedals kept skipping while I was pedalling. The service people told me it's because of the way I shift gears, but I've been riding Swapfiets for a year now and never had that issue.
