PowerBar 5Electrolytes is a refreshing thirst quencher with the five most important electrolytes (sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium, and magnesium). These five electrolytes support important bodily functions during exercise, such as moisture intake (sodium), a regular energy-providing metabolism (calcium, magnesium), and normal muscle function (potassium, calcium, and magnesium). These are also the five electrolytes you lose quickest during perspiration. The 5Electrolytes tabs refill the most important electrolytes before, during, and after exercise.

The PowerBar 5Electrolytes tabs do not contain sugars or calories. This ideal if you want to drink a low-calorie thirst quencher. This is common during exercise during which replenishing carbohydrates isn't essential (such as exercise shorter than 90 minutes) or training that stimulate fat metabolism. The 5Electrolytes tabs can also be useful before and during exercise at high temperatures.

5Electrolytes tabs are easily dissolved in a water bottle. A single 5Electrolytes tab is enough for 0.5 to 0.75 litres of sports drink.
Note: The 5Electrolytes Pink Grapefruit and Lemon Tonic contain 75 mg of caffeine per tablet.

Recommended use: Preferably use 5Electrolytes in workouts shorter than 90 minutes, where it is not necessary to supplement carbohydrates, or in fat-burning workouts. Dissolve 1 tablet in a 500-millilitre water bottle and consume 3 to 4 hours prior to the sports performance. Drink 250 to 500 millilitres per hour in the remaining hours prior to performance. Drink one 500-millilitre water bottle with one 5Electrolytes tablet per hour during exercise.

Recommended dosage: Dissolve 1 tablet per 500-millilitre water bottle. It is recommended not to consume more than 2 tablets per day. Do not leave a prepared water bottle for more than 24 hours.

Warning: The PowerBar 5Electrolytes Pink Grapefruit and Lemon Tonic contain caffeine (75 mg per tablet). Not recommended for children and pregnant women.
