Powerful Bosch mid-mounted motor
The Bosch Active Line Plus motor is located in the middle of the frame of this e-bike. It is very strong, with a torque of 50 Nm, yet it is also known to be very quiet and to provide smooth-feeling pedal assist. Great for long rides in the countryside. This electric bike comes with a choice of 2 battery types. The 400 Wh variant is good for a maximum range of 140 kilometers; with the 500 Wh battery you can ride up to 160 kilometers with assist. The battery is neatly concealed in the luggage carrier.

Stable handling
The frame of the Pegasus Siena electric bike is extremely rigid, which makes it feel very stable when cornering and going over bumps. So, you'll feel absolutely confident on your Siena. This is also partly due to the fact that the welds have not been fully smoothened. While some may find that it makes the bike look less attractive, this is of minor importance when you realise the great handling you get for it.

High-quality parts

I had the opportunity to test the Pegasus Siena E7F Plus on an autumn ride of over 70 kilometres. What struck me most was its comfortable handling. As I rode up and down two viaducts, I came across a number of hairpin bends, which I got through smoothly because of the Siena's stiff frame. The brakes took some getting used to, as they are very powerful.
Furthermore, the upright sitting position is very comfortable. An advantage is the stem that is adjustable by hand, making it very easy to find your ideal riding position. The saddle on this Pegasus e-bike may be a bit hard for some; after 60 kilometres or so I started to feel some discomfort from it.
In terms of assist, the 50Nm motor feels very smooth, as if it were an extension of my muscle power. Bridges or hills are never to be feared again! I managed to complete the 70 km ride on a 400Wh battery, mostly in assist mode three. In a lower mode, you could get a lot further. All in all, my conclusion is that this German e-bike is surprisingly good in all respects.
