Description
The Mavic Crossride FTS-X wheelset is a very sturdy and reliable wheelset for your mountain bike. Perfect to replace the original basic wheelset of your mountain bike with. The Crossride FTS-X is suitable for quick releases front and rear, but also for a 15 mm through axle fit. The disc rotor interface uses a 6-hole fit, while the rims are 21 mm wide internally so the tyres sit on the rims nicely. The hubs are equipped with 2RS bearings with double seals to keep them running for longer.
Mavic Care
With Mavic Care you can extend the warranty to 3 years by registering your purchased wheel set on the Mavic website within 30 days. It also activates the possibility of crash replacement so you can get up to 40% discount on a similar product. You are eligible for this if your wheel can no longer be repaired after a fall or collision.
MyMavic app
The MyMavic app (available from the App Store and Google Play) gives you advice on the right tyre width and pressure, tailored to your rim width and road surface.

Tubeless mogelijk met tape / prima prijs-kwaliteit
De wielen lopen lekker soepel, zowel in het bos als bij wat ruiger werk als trappen af jekkeren in de stad en kleine sprongen en drops. Ik vraag mij af of de meegeleverde velglint geschikt is voor tubeless. Op de site van mavic staat van niet. Toch heb ik ze vrij eenvoudig tubeless gekregen met tape wat ik nog had liggen. De banden vallen goed in de velgrand en ik kan mij voorstellen dat niet alle banden er gemakkelijk opgaan hierdoor. Bij tubeless niet zo’n probleem want ze gaan er pas af als ze versleten zijn. Ook zijn ze best goed stijf voor een wiel met 24 spaken, dit had ik eigenlijk niet verwacht voor deze prijs
