Lapierre E-Sensium Elektrische Racefiets

The Lapierre E-Sensium 500 is a surprisingly well riding electric road bike that is barely distinguishable from ordinary road bikes. Only the larger rear hub that contains the motor betrays that it offers electric assistance.

Great assistance
The rear wheel of the Lapierre E-Sensium 500 houses the almost invisible motor. The X35 E-Bike Motion Assist System offers very pleasant assistance. In eco mode already the bike provides enough assistance to make a climb easier. The system produces some 100 watts extra then, which you will readily feel. The motor can deliver up to 250 watts. When the assistance is switched off, you will hardly feel that this bike is different from a "normal" road bike. Only the extra weight of about 3.5 kilos is noticeable.
The relatively low battery capacity of 250 Wh provides a range of about 80 to 110 km for a rider of 90 kilos who only uses the assistance when needed. For most rides this is more than enough.

Solid and reliable equipment
The Lapierre E-Sensium 500 is fitted with Shimano's proven 105 quality group. This group simply provides excellent shifting and braking, in less favourable conditions and under load as well. With the compact (50x34) crankset and the 11-speed 11-34 cassette you can always find the right gear, with or without assistance.
The aluminium frame of the E-Sensium ensures a comfortable sitting position and pleasant, stable riding characteristics. So here too, absolutely nothing is wrong!

Versatility
The Lapierre E-Sensium is also very suitable for the daily commute. Accessories such as a luggage carrier and mudguards can be mounted onto the frame to make it somewhat more practical.

In short, the Lapierre E-Sensium is ideal for sporty cyclists who are looking for a fine road bike that can offer a little assistance from time to time.

Hele fijne ondersteuning
In het achterwiel van de Lapierre E-Sensium 500 huist de haast onzichtbaar motor. Het X35 ebikemotion assist system zoals hij officieel heet geeft een hele prettige ondersteuning. Al in de eco-modus levert de motor genoeg ondersteuning om makkelijker een klim te overwinnen. Het systeem geeft dan ongeveer 100 watt extra en dat is al zeer merkbaar. Maximaal kan de motor 250 watt leveren. Wanneer de ondersteuning uitstaat is er eigenlijk geen verschil merkbaar met een "gewone" racefiets. Alleen het extra gewicht van zo'n 3,5 kilo is heel iets merkbaar.
De relatief lage accucapaciteit van 250 Wh geeft een rijder van 90 kg die de assist alleen gebruikt wanneer dat nodig is, een bereik van ongeveer 80 tot 110 km. Ruim voldoende dus voor de meeste ritten.

Degelijke en betrouwbare afmontage
De Lapierre E-Sensium 500 is afgemonteerd met de bewezen 105 kwaliteitsgroep van Shimano. Dit schakelt en remt gewoon heel goed, ook in minder goede omstandigheden en onder belasting. Met het compact (50x34) crankstel en de 11 speed 11-34 cassette kan men ook zonder ondersteuning altijd het juiste verzet vinden.
Het aluminium frame van de E-Sensium zorgt voor een comfortabele houding en prettige, stabiele rij-eigenschappen. Hier is dus helemaal niks mis mee!

Veelzijdig
De Lapierre E-Sensium elektrische racefiets kan ook prima ingezet worden als dagelijkse woon-werk fiets. Het frame heeft bevestiging nokjes om bijvoorbeeld een achterdrager en spatborden te monteren om hem iets praktischer te maken.
