Description
The Koga Worldtraveler takes you to places in the world where you have never been. It's the ideal bike to cycle around and discover the world.
Bike for the adventurer
With this trekking bike you will see a lot of the world. Attach your panniers to your front and rear carriers and go on an adventure.
If you are looking for a bike to enjoy a nice trip and to cycle multi-day bike rides, the Koga Worldtraveler is the ideal bike for you.
Koga is known for good frames, that is also the case with this trekking bike. The frame is made of lightweight aluminum in which the cables are integrated. Besides the fact that integrated cable routing gives the bike a sleek look, it is also very practical. If it rains during one of your rides, the cables will be well protected against dirt and moisture. There is also an integrated steering angle limiter that offers extra protection to the frame.
Shifting and braking
The KOGA Worldtraveler comes with the Shimano Deore XT gear group. This is a high-quality gear group that you find on mountain bikes. With the Deore XT group you can change gears smoothly and quickly. The trekking bike has 30 gears, with which you can also easily cycle up the steep parts. This bike also has Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. The big advantage of disc brakes is the enormous braking force, and the easy modulation of the braking force. Also not unimportant is that hydraulic disc brakes also provide good braking performance when it rains.
A complete trekking bike
For a trekking bike, luggage carriers are of great importance for carrying your luggage. The Worldtraveler has a front and rear carrier for carrying all your belongings. The lighting of the bicycle works on a hub dynamo and there is a stationary light on it. The stationary light stays on for a while after you come to a stop, so you are clearly visible to passing traffic. The bicycle comes with a one-legged kickstand and a Trelock ring lock that is suitable for a plug-in cable. If your tyres feel soft, you can always inflate the tyres again with the bicycle pump that is clipped onto your frame.
