Description
With the Paris C7 HMB, Gazelle has created an electric bike with a very attractive price tag. To achieve that, Gazelle has only added the necessary features to the Paris C7 HMB. But more is really not necessary. What's on and on this e-bike is simply good.
Reliable Bosch mid-drive motor
The motor in this electric bike is "of course" from Bosch, namely the popular Active Line 3.0 mid-drive motor with a very usable torque of 40 Nm. This is enough for just about anyone, unless you want to conquer the steepest hills. This makes the Gazelle Paris C7 HMB a suitable city bike, but also quite useful for longer, flat tours. The placement of the motor ensures a low, central centre of gravity. This ensures that this e-bike has fine riding characteristics.
The on-board computer displays all the necessary information. It can be found on the left side of the handlebars and has a clearly readable LCD screen.
Wide choice of batteries
The battery that comes standard with this bike, with a capacity of 300 Wh, can provide up to 120 kilometres of pedal assistance. If you do demand a little more, an upgrade is possible. There are 400 and 500 Wh variants, for example, which provide up to 140 or 160 kilometres of support respectively.
The battery of Paris C7 HMB is placed under the luggage carrier. This ensures that it can be easily removed, using a key. This does raise the centre of gravity a little.
Maintenance-free gear and brake components
With the 7 internal hub gear, you can always find the right pedal frequency and desired pedal assistance. Its critical components are incorporated internally, making it low-maintenance.
The brakes on the Paris C7 are also fine. The Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes have plenty of braking power and are also pleasant to dose. A safe fact in today's busy traffic. The use of hydraulic lines, instead of brake cables, ensures less wear and tear. With this electric bike, therefore, you won't have to visit the bike shop too often.
Tried Gazelle finish
A fine riding experience is ensured on this e-bike by a suspension fork. The stiff frame with comfortable geometry make this an electric bike that you can leisurely ride long distances on. However, a suspension seatpost is missing.
As with all their bikes, Gazelle has also ensured a stylish appearance with the Paris C7 HMB. The internal cable routing gives the electric bike a sleek look. The beautiful colours with matte finish, complete the picture. The fact that Gazelle has made both low-entry and high-entry frames means that there is a right choice for all women and men.
