Once a Garmin always a Garmin
More comprehensive than the 830
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Best device for navigation workouts and rhythm measurement.
Upgraded from a wahoo bolt 1, it did exactly what you need a bike computer for. Only reason I wanted to upgrade is Garmin ecosystem (vario and hr) and much better navigation. Does exactly that one more, probably never going to get everything out of the device, but what I use m for. (Measuring ride, seeing traffic coming up behind and navigating) the unit more than satisfies. Compared to the wahoo, it is a more striking device, a lot bigger and heavier though, but I accept that, as the navigation is much better. And also controllable from the unit.

Cost something, get something
Nice upgrade over the 830. The extra buttons on the side are very nice. Battery life is more than good. Screen to perform workouts is clearer compared to the 830. I did turn off the amount of notifications, got quite crazy with all the warnings for a turn, chance of heavy traffic etc.
