The Fulcrum SHARQ 57 2WF C25 aerodynamic wheelset combines speed and precision thanks to an optimised rim profile with a varying height of 57 to 62 millimetres. The generous 25 mm inner rim width and the wheels' low weight guarantee stability and low rolling resistance on varied routes. The result is an efficient and highly responsive ride in all conditions.

The full-carbon FF100 construction with a Direct Inmold matt finish is the foundation of the wheelset. This carbon fibre lay-up and finish make the rims stiff yet light for instant and efficient power transfer. The aerodynamic design includes an alternating rim height between 57 and 62 mm to reduce drag and improve stability while cycling in changing wind directions. The wheels' 25 mm inner rim width and mini-hook design provide excellent support for wide tyres. This wide base creates a tight transition between rim and tyre, providing high grip and low rolling resistance on asphalt.

Besides the carbon rims, this system includes several cleverly engineered components aimed at increasing efficiency. With a total weight of 1520 grams, the wheelset always responds smoothly to acceleration. Each wheel is constructed with 24 stainless steel straight-pull spokes. These A3RO spokes measure 0.8 by 3 mm and are fitted using the Two-to-One (2:1) pattern, which distributes drive forces evenly and increases lateral stiffness. Aluminium hubs with low flanges form a stable core and feature USB ceramic bearings. This adjustable cup & cone bearing system ensures smooth, friction-free rotation. Self-locking aluminium nipples keep tension consistent. Finally, MoMag technology with its undrilled rim bed eliminates the need for tubeless tape and allows for quick and airtight mounting.

Mounting and compatibility
Classified under ASTM category 2, this 28-inch wheelset is suitable for use on paved and light dirt roads. The 25 mm inner rim width allows for mounting of very wide tyres, ranging from 29 to even 76 mm! For mounting, the front wheel uses a standard 12x100 mm thru-axle and the rear wheel a 12x142 mm one. The wheels support a maximum weight of 120 kg.
