The Fizik Arione R3 has been designed for the so-called Snakes. The Snake is a rider with a flexible back who feels comfortable riding low on the drops and needs a narrow saddle. The Cyrano Snake Bars with its deep drops and the Arione saddle are made to suit this rider's needs. The Fixik Arione R3 is an extremely rigid and lightweight saddle. This is due to the nylon-injected composite shell, the Wing Flex technology, and K:ium saddle rails.
Saddle Shape
This saddle has a flat back which makes it suitable for riders who remain stationary on their saddle and don't slide around during their ride. Since this is a flat saddle, it better supports these riders than a round saddle would.
Flexibility
This is a completely flat saddle which provides you with plenty of freedom to move around. The shape is suitable for riders with a high degree of flexibility in their spine. People with a flexible spine have little trouble rotating their pelvis, meaning they need little to no support to get into the proper cycling position.
The K:ium rail is made from an aluminium alloy, creating a strong and stable connection between the saddle and the seat post.
Wing Flex Technology
By adding a slight amount of flex to the side panels of the saddle, Fizik has increased the comfort significantly. The Wing Flex technology creates a little extra space for your legs, allowing you to put out more power with more ease.
ICS: Integrated Clip System
You can attach a FiZik Saddle Bag or Light to the rear of the saddle with the integrated clip system (saddle bag/light not included).

With mantel.com I got the best shop with the best saddle.
I struggled for a very long time to find the right saddle. However, with the Mantel suggestion due to your seatbones I was able to order different saddles as Mantel offers a 30 day test for saddles. This was the perfect way to figure out which saddle to go for and I find the Fizik Arione R3 the best saddle for me. It’s stiff, lightweight and looks great on my bike. Of course, it’s a hard saddle so you’ll need some time to get used to it. But once you do it’s comfortable and I feels great on every ride. So if you’re looking for a flat saddle made for aggressive positions and long term comfort this saddle is the way to go and Mantel is your shop to go.
