This is the same kit Giant-Shimano Pro Tour wear, but a bit different. Something changed in the sponsoring contract, so these sets were effectively useless. We thought it would be a shame to just throw these sets away, because lots of people would like to have a perfectly good and professional set, whatever the sponsor may be.
The aerodynamic fit of the jersey is achieved by using different kinds of fabric in multiple panels. The jersey is made of lightweight material with UV protection, which is comfortable and dries quickly. Despite the low weight, the fabric is durable.
The Giant Allin Shimano bib shorts are perfectly good. They belong to the most essential garments of a professional cyclist. They are approved by the profs, and now you can experience this comfort. The fit, comfort, weight, elasticity, and above all the quality and position of the padding are of the utmost importance. During a six-hour training ride you don’t want to cut down on padding.
Another fun addition, as you can see on the photos, is the name of one of the profs on the collar. Every jersey has a different name, so when you order a kit, it’s going to be a surprise whose name you’ll get. This makes these kits truly unique.
