Electric Bike Selection Assistant
What range do you want in your battery?
Do you want to go on long weekend rides? Or will you use your electric bike mostly for short rides into the centre of your town or city? The answers will help you decide what range is best for you (i.e. the distance you can cycle on a full battery). The range depends on several factors, such as: Do you cycle in a high assist mode? Are you carrying a lot of weight? Is it cold outside? These factors may cause the battery to drain faster, so that you can cycle less far.
Also bear in mind that the range decreases over time. Poor maintenance can result in a 10 to 15% reduction in capacity per year. So when buying your e-bike, think about your desired use over a number of years.
