The Cube SL Road is an excellent bike for any sporty rider who prefers to ride with straight bars instead of drops.

Cube has worked hard to create a fitness bike that doesn't differ much from a road bike. It gives you 16 gears and excellent brakes as well as a fork that provides a lot of comfort. So whichever way you want to go, with the Cube SL Road you're always on the right track!

The basis of this fitness bike is its super light and stiff aluminium frame, which is highly responsive for smooth cornerning. For enhanced comfort it has a carbon fork, which dampens the worst vibrations from the road surface.
Shifting and braking
The 16-speed Shimano Claris group is found on many beginner bikes, and shifts properly. The bike comes with a 12-32 cassette, which gives you a large gear range, which you'll appreciate particularly when climbing. The Tektro hydraulic disc brakes have enormous stopping power and are easy to modulate. Even if you cycle in bad weather, you can rely on the excellent performance of these brakes.
Tubeless riding
Cube has selected a wheelset of their own design for the SL Road. The great thing about these wheels is that they are tubeless ready, so with some adjustments you can ride tubeless. The main advantages of going tubeless include increased puncture resistance and reduced rolling resistance.
Versatility
Whether you want to use the bike for training or commuting, the SL Road is ready for it. And with the mounting points for mudguards you can easily turn it into a sporty versatile bike.
