Good geometry
The Cube Reaction Hybrid 500 uses Agile Ride geometry. This has resulted in a light and strong e-MTB with excellent handling. The cables run through the frame, so that they are well protected against dirt and precipitation. Suspension is very important for off-road riding, which is why Cube has mounted a front fork with lock-out. Lock-out allows you to adjust the suspension travel while riding. On tar you need much less suspension than on unpaved roads so, using the lockout, you can ride more efficiently.
Powerful assistance
The extra power is provided by the Bosch Performance CX mid-mounted motor. This mid-mounted motor has a torque of 85Nm, whihc provides adequare assistance on steep slopes. The use of different sensors makes the assistance feel natural. The 500Wh battery will last about 50 kilometers. You can easily control the motor with the Purion display which also shows all the basic ride data.
Smooth shifting and braking
Shimano Deore 11-speed drivetrain is reliable and smooth and has a 11-51 cassette, which gives you a large gear range suitable for steeper climbs. The Cube Reaction Hybrid also comes with hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano, which deliver excellent braking power and are easy to modulate. You can also rely on the quality of these brakes on a wet road.
More than just a mountain bike
The Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro is also excellent to use for your daily commute. There are attachment points on the frame to mount mudguards, a kickstand and a luggage carrier. With a few adjustments, your electric mountain bike is also very suitable for everyday rides.
