Cube Access WS EXC

The Cube Access WS EXC is a sporty mountain bike for women who want to experience off-road cycling. It is a comfortable bike which also feels playful on the track.

Women specific geometry
WS stands for 'women specific', i.e. designed for women. And that makes a big difference! The handlebar is slightly shorter and the grips are slightly narrower than on men’s bikes. Also, you can adjust the front fork to your own weight. As many women have a relatively short upper body, the geometry has been adjusted accordingly.

The right gear
The Shimano powertrain offers the right gear for every situation. You have three sprockets at the front and eight at the back, which equals 24 gears in total. The brakes are Shimano as well: They are hydraulic disc brakes whose stopping power is easy to modulate. The fact that they require little maintenance is a plus because, really, after a tough ride who wants to spend time tinkering with their bike?

Multipurpose
A mountain bike can also be a great bike for daily use, provided that you add a pair of mudguards and a set of lights. For rides in the forest we also recommend additional material such as a bottle cage and, of course, a helmet.

Dames geometrie
De WS staat voor 'women specific', oftewel ontworpen voor de dames. En dat merk je! Het stuur is wat korter en de handvatten zijn wat smaller. Ook kan je de voorvork instellen op je eigen gewicht. Omdat vrouwen vaak een relatief kort bovenlichaam hebben is de geometrie hierop aangepast.

De juiste versnelling
De Shimano aandrijflijn geeft je voor elk moment de juiste versnelling. Aan de voorkant heb je drie tandbladen en achter acht. Deze combinatie geeft je 24 versnellingen. Ook de remmen zijn van Shimano. Deze hydraulische schijfremmen zijn prettig te doseren. Bovendien zijn ze onderhoudsvriendelijk. Want wie wil er nou na een zware inspanning nog aan haar fiets prutsen?

Multifunctioneel
Een mountainbike kan ook een fijne fiets zijn voor dagelijks gebruik. Je hebt dan echter wel een paar spatborden nodig en een setje lampen. Ook voor het bos raden wij aanvullend materiaal aan, zoals een bidonhouder en uiteraard een helm.
