Stylish design

Frame, fork and wheels
This transport bike features an aluminium frame. This frame is very robust, so you can make the most of both the front and rear carrier. For direct handling, a rigid front fork has been added. However, when luggage is placed on the front carrier, steering behaviour will be a little less tight. Because this bike is very strongly built, the bike is a hefty 30kg excluding battery. E-bike technology
The Bosch Active Line mid-drive motor delivers 40Nm of torque. This allows you to conquer the countryside, even with wind against. For hilly terrain, however, the bike is a bit too heavy and the motor a bit on the weak side. With this bike, you can choose between 3 different batteries. These have a realistic range starting at a generous 50 kilometres to a mere 100 kilometres with the strongest battery. The weaker batteries are especially suitable for short rides. We recommend the largest 500Wh battery, partly due to the bike's high weight, for medium rides. Perfect for daily rides to school a village away. Furthermore, you can choose between a 2A compact charger, which you can easily take with you, and a 4A standard charger.

Shifting and braking
Low-maintenance components are at the heart of this electric bike. Case in point is the reliable Bosch Active Line motor. The Nexus 7 internal hub gear is also low-maintenance. It has a gear range of 244%, giving you more than enough choice in the city and countryside. The roller brakes are also not subject to much wear and tear. The braking characteristics of these rollerbrakes are very reliable in all conditions. However, the braking force is somewhat low for a heavy bike riding at the maximum 25km/h. You have to take that into account, especially at the beginning.

Other parts
A transport bike has the ability to carry luggage on both the rear and front carrier. Therefore, the bike should also be able to be set down stably when fully loaded. Battery maintenance
If possible, charge your battery at room temperature. For below zero temperatures, we recommend taking the battery indoors.
Do not store the battery when empty. If you plan not to use your e-bike for a longer period of time, we recommend storing the battery around 60% charged and around room temperature. Recharge the battery from time to time (once a month) to ensure its longevity.

Maintenance of shifting parts and brakes
Both hub gears and roller brakes are low-maintenance, as the vulnerable parts are internal. In case of problems with these parts, we recommend going to the bike shop. Because of the dense chaincase, the chain is less likely to get dirty. However, occasional cleaning and lubrication is recommended.

Tyre pressure
Having the right tyre pressure is important. Having the wrong tyre pressure can lead to punctures, higher wear, damage to the rim at low pressure and uncomfortable riding.
