Frame, fork and wheels
The geometry of the frame gives you a lightly sporty sitting position. In combination with the non-suspension front fork, this robust frame ensures very stable handling. In addition, the stem is manually adjustable, so you can adjust your sitting position as desired during a long ride.

E-bike technology
The heart of the bike is formed by the wonderful Shimano Steps E-6100 mid-mounted motor. It delivers no less than 60Nm of torque. As a result, you always have the wind with you, even when it goes uphill. In combination with the 500Wh battery, this guarantees hours of cycling pleasure. The realistic range is estimated at approximately 90 kilometers. This varies according to whether the conditions, such as wind or road surface, are better or worse. With this range and power, the bike is ideal for commuting or recreational rides, where you don't have to avoid a hill.

Shimano E-Tube app
By installing the Shimano E-Tube app on your phone, you can customise your e-bike even more! Not only can you use your phone as a display to show your speed, for example, but you can also update the firmware of your motor and change settings of the motor. A handy option is, for example, that you can adjust the power distribution in a motor position, so you can choose whether you want to feel more support at low or high speed. Of course this remains within the legal limits and you will not be able to get more power from the motor or ride faster than the legally permitted 25 km/h.

Thanks to the Shimano Nexus 8 gears, you can always find the right gear. These hub gears offer a range of 307%. In addition, it is maintenance-free, because the vulnerable parts are well sealed off from the outside world. Hydraulic disc brakes make the bike safe, can be modulated easily and have a lot of braking power.

Other parts
The Cortina E-Mozzo Pro 8V is equipped with a low luggage carrier. You can fit suitable panniers on both sides. Make sure that you do not transport too much weight and that you divide this over both sides. This is an ideal and sleek-looking system for transporting work items, such as a laptop and folders. This system is less suitable for doing a lot of heavy shopping.

Battery maintenance
If possible, charge your battery at room temperature. If it is freezing cold, we recommend taking the battery indoors.
Do not store the battery empty. If you do not plan to use your e-bike for a longer period of time, we recommend that you store the battery at around 60% fill level at room temperature. Recharge the battery from time to time (once a month) to ensure battery life.

Maintenance of shifting parts and brakes
The gear hub is virtually maintenance-free. To prevent other parts, such as the sprockets, from wearing out faster, it is advisable to tension or replace a chain in good time. We recommend cleaning the hydraulic disc brakes as little as possible, because contamination with grease and cleaning agents can adversely affect the braking properties. If you want to clean the brake discs, we recommend doing this with a dry paper towel. Try not to touch the brake discs with your fingers.

Tyre pressure
Having the correct tyre pressure is important. Incorrect tyre pressure can lead to punctures, increased wear, damage to the rim at low pressure and uncomfortable driving. On most e-bikes the tyre pressure is about 3.5 to 6 bar. On the sidewall of your tyre you can always see what the pressure of your bicycle tires should be.
