Shimano Steps E-5000 mid-motor
The heart of this electric bicycle is formed by the Shimano STEPS E-5000 mid-mounted motor. This is Shimano's lightest and quietest system. Weighing only 2.5 kg, this engine weighs at least 400 grams less than comparable systems. At first glance, this may not seem like a big difference, but it has a very positive effect on both handling and performance. The torque, or turning force, of 40 Nm makes this motor extremely suitable for use in the city or for commuting.

City bike? Touring bike? Both!
The combination with the 400 Wh strong battery ensures that you can enjoy silent, natural pedal support for up to 120 kilometers in optimal conditions. However, with some headwind, use of higher support positions and not completely flat terrain, the range quickly drops to about 70 kilometers. Still more than enough for a relaxing bike ride!
