The Continental Speed King CX Performance cyclocross tyre is intended for somewhat more specific conditions. The Speed King CX excels most on dry sandy surfaces or frozen surfaces. Tyre pressure is a big influence on the amount of grip. Lower pressure means more grip, but it does also increase rolling resistance. It's up to you to find the perfect balance between the two.

Pure quality long lasting durable safe tyre

Na 1000km karkas kapot
Banden zijn na 2 maand en ca 1000km enorm gaan slingeren. Lijkt alsof het soepele karkas stuk is. Heb 6x lek gereden.

Prima band ook geschikt voor mtb
Prima band goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Ik had al ervaring met deze band op een cyclocross fiets. Ik heb hem nu gebruikt op mijn mtb omdat ik hier het liefste toch mee op de weg of zandwegen rijd en ik de mtb banden te breed vond.

Fijne gravelbanden, snel soepel, rolt ook lekker op asfalt.
Soepel rollende banden voor gravel, zand en harde ondergrond. Bij natte en gladde omstandigheden vragen ze de nodige stuurmanskunst. Heb er ca 500km aan gravel kilometets op zitten en ben er zeer tevreden over.

Band met veel grip
Dit is mijn 2de jaar dat ik deze banden leg, dit vanaf het najaar, veel grip op het natte en bevroren wegdek, afrollen met iets meer weerstand dan een gladde raceband, grootste nadeel is het regelmatig lekrijden in natte omstandigheden, steeltjes blijven heel snel in het zachte compound plakken met een lekke band tot gevolg, op een 3000km toch wel 6 keer lek gereden,...
