This bib short features Affinity Pro Lycra® on the inside of the legs for excellent stretch and support. The Vortex V2 textured fabric on the outside helps to improve aerodynamics and provides light compression. Thanks to the snug fit, the short sits well on your body without pinching. The KISS Air2 seat pad offers comfortable cushioning and breathability, making long rides more enjoyable. The bib short is suitable for temperatures between 15 and 25+ °C and, therefore, ideal for summer conditions.
Finish and extras
The raw-cut trouser legs with integrated silicone grippers keep the shorts firmly in place without causing uncomfortable pressure points. The seamless bib straps are designed for optimal comfort, with a breathable mesh panel on the back to prevent overheating. Flatlock stitching reduces friction and irritation, contributing to a smooth ride. Reflective details at the back increase visibility in low-light conditions. Moreover, the fabric includes UPF 50+ sun protection, which is an added advantage on sunny summer days.

Great cycling shorts, value for money.
After several black trousers from Castelli in XL with the more expensive chamois, I wanted to try an L as the XL is tight yet comfortable but sometimes gives me some chafing. The competitione has the same race-fit as the top models but with the kiss-air chamois. I took the gamble and this time in grey. When putting it on, it feels very tight, but during a 4.5-hour ride, it didn't bother me. And no chafing. Mantel's size recommendation is correct as far as I am concerned. So trouser size 32 is size L of Castelli. You have to like race-fit. The chamois seems fine but I can only really judge that after several rides.
