Frame, wheels & tyres
With its lightweight frame and suspension fork, the Cannondale Trail 20 is a sporty model. The design of the frame was inspired by mountain bike frames, and the fork has 40 mm travel. This makes the bike comfortable on asphalt roads and also suitable for off-road riding. The 20 inch wheels are fitted with 50 mm wide tyres for good damping, and with their light studded tread your child will have enough grip even on gravel and sand.

Shifting & braking
This kids bike is fitted with derailleur gears. It has 7 gears, allowing your child to ride at a certain pace on smooth as well as difficult terrain. The twist mechanism makes switching very easy and, therefore, safe. The V hand brakes provide very good braking power. Thus, with this bike your child can feel confident about going into traffic.

Other features
As this bike is a real mountain bike for kids, it does not come with features such as a lock, mudguards or a luggage carrier. It does have a kickstand for easy parking if there is no bike rack. The option to mount a water bottle cage makes the Cannondale Trail 20 suitable for great rides in the woods.
