Cleverly designed aluminium frame
The versatile frame of the Cannondale Topstone 1 is made from lightweight and durable aluminium with several sophisticated features - internal cable routing for a clean look and little maintenance, a fully carbon fork with OutFront geometry for enhanced comfort and handling, and many mounting points for luggage carriers and accessories such as mudguards. The frame is dropper-post compatible for the real adventurers among us. Furthermore, the frame offers clearance for tyres up to 45 mm wide.

Gravel-specific Shimano GRX drivetrain
The Cannondale Topstone 1 comes with a mix of Shimano GRX parts. Gear shifting is fast and accurate with the Shimano GRX 800 front and rear derailleurs. The combination of the 46x30 crank and the 11-34 cassette gives you a wide gear range, ensuring that you can find the right gears on the descents as well as the climbs. And on the flat, too, of course.
When riding off-road, the GRX 600 shifters give you extra grip because their ergonomics have been adapted for that type of use. Even in wet conditions, your hands remain firmly in place on the shifters. The Shimano BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors ensure good braking performance in dry as well as wet weather.

Great tyres
The Topstone 1 has what it takes to let you go as fast as possible both on- and off-road. It gives you all the speed you want, because this bike comes with great WTB Riddler tyres, which at 37 mm, admittedly, are a bit on the narrow side for the most challenging gravel trails. But they offer great speed as well as high grip and puncture resistance on most gravel trails.
