Thanks to the suspension, it can cope very well with bad roads or even dirt tracks and offer a smooth ride on any terrain. Thanks to the 7-speed hub, it offers just the right gear range. The closed chain case prevents dirt getting to the chain and makes the chain low-maintenance so that you can continue to cycle without a worry on your mind. And if you want to use the Batavus Finez as a touring bike, there is no reason why you couldn’t or shouldn't!
Convenient features galore!
The fact that the Finez was called the ultimate all-rounder refers to more than just the drivetrain. The bike has Vizi lighting, which is powered by a low-maintenance hub dynamo. This Vizi lighting has a daytime running mode as well as a sensor which automatically switches the mode to high beam when it gets dark to ensure visibility at all times. Batavus has also given due consideration to the location of the lights to reduce the risk of damage to them when the bike is being parked in a bike shed, for example. Another big plus on this city bike is the hydraulic disc brakes, which provide optimal braking power in all circumstances. This is important for any type of use, whether it’s your rides in the city, to work and back, or your touring rides.
