The Assos Equipe RSR Superléger is an extremely light men's short-sleeved cycling jersey. This cycling jersey is made for fast races, supportive training rides and indoor training sessions. It is simply quality gear for extreme heat.
With the Assos Equipe RSR Superléger, much has been done to lose as much weight as possible. The omission of a zip is an example of this. As a result, this cycling jersey weighs barely 82 grams (size M). This is 35% lighter than Assos' standard World Tour jersey. Yet the Equipe RSR Superléger has proven to deliver performance during races. Prototypes of this cycling jersey debuted at the Tour de France. Based on feedback from pro riders, it was then refined and optimised.
The Assos Equipe RSR Superléger features the brand new Hill Rombo fabric. This material is extremely lightweight and thus also makes a crucial contribution to the low weight of this cycling jersey. Furthermore, this fabric breathes extremely well and provides extremely effective cooling. The sleeves are made of Push Pull Light. This is a lighter, more breathable version of the standard Push Pull fabric. Furthermore, the sleeve ends are finished raw-cut and this benefits aerodynamics. The single back pocket is made of super-light mesh and is larger than a standard back pocket. You can store your phone, gels or a wind vest well in here.
The materials and construction used have given the Assos Equipe RSR Superléger a so-called 'AeroFit' fit, which is quite tight and is also used by Assos for their World Tour cycling jerseys. The AeroFit fit and the omission of a zip, make the Equipe RSR Superléger blend with your body.
