De Zipp 303 Firecrest Tubular Disc racefiets wielen voor schijfremmen zijn breed en zeer geschikt voor cyclocross gebruik. Lichtgewicht, stijf en aerodynamisch. De set is getest door de beste cyclocross atleten ter wereld. Zoals supertalent Jeremy Powers. Dit ging zo goed dat hij er Nationaal kampioen mee werd. Zonder dat zijn lagers ook maar 1 keer vervangen hoefde te worden in 1 cyclocross seizoen. Remmen met deze disc wielset heeft nog nooit zo goed gevoeld omdat de set stijf blijft en voor maximale grip zorgt.
