Wahoo KICKR Bike V1 Smart Bike

With the KICKR Bike, Wahoo had only one goal in mind: to make cycling training indoors as realistic as possible. Wahoo does this by applying a number of innovations to the KICKR Bike. Wahoo has managed to bring almost all the features of the legendary KICKR range in this one device. The KICKR Bike has, among other things, a built-in power meter and slope simulation. The only thing that is missing is the wind simulation. With this indoor trainer you have almost everything you need to keep your fitness up, without the hassle of changing cassettes, thru-axles or quick-releases when you want to train indoors.

The KICKR Bike does use a different type of motor than the rest of the KICKR series. This is the absolute top model. Its motor has a maximum power of 2200 watts and, thanks to the large flywheel in combination with a motorized brake, it gives an extremely precise accuracy and a realistic cycling feeling. The resistance change is very smooth so that climbing, accelerating, decelerating and descending feel almost the same as on your real bike! This realistic feeling is assisted by the slope simulation. The same technology as the KICKR Climb is built into the KICKR Bike. This allows you to climb up to 20% and descend up to -15%. So there is almost no bike ride that cannot be simulated by the KICKR Bike!

Just like riding your bike outside
You can manually adjust the incline percentage, but when you do a workout, the KICKR Bike automatically adjusts the incline and cadence. Because the KICKR Bike actually changes the slope angle, it feels like you are actually climbing or descending. In addition, the shifting has also been simulated as naturally as possible. Not only are the shifters realistically designed, they are also fully adjustable, from sprocket per chainring to entire groupsets from SRAM, Shimano and Campagnolo. This makes the shifting feel exactly like on your bike. And with the digital display on the frame, you can see exactly the incline and what gear you're in.

3rd party apps and connectivity
Naturally, the Wahoo KICKR Bike can be connected to most popular training apps, such as Zwift, The Sufferfest, FulGaz, Rouvy and TrainerRoad. The Wahoo Fitness App can also be used and you can connect all bicycle computers with a Bluetooth or ANT+ connection to the KICKR Bike.

Adjustment options
To make the experience of outdoor cycling as natural as possible, you naturally want to sit exactly the same on your bicycle trainer as on your road or mountain bike. Fortunately, this is very easy with the Wahoo Fitness App, which allows you to very precisely copy the geometry of your bike and translate it to the KICKR Bike. At no less than 5 different points (saddle height and angle of the saddle, frame height, stack, reach and crank length) you can adjust the KICKR Bike to your ideal position. Furthermore, because the KICKR Bike uses universal mounting options for the handlebars and saddle, you can easily replace them with your favourite bars or saddle.

Wahoo Fitness App
The Wahoo Fitness App can be downloaded for free from the Itunes App Store or Google Playstore. This app has 4 training settings for the Wahoo KICKR:
1. Level Mode: Choose a level from 1-9. The level you select determines how challenging the ride is, using a power curve similar to that of a standard air or fluid resistance trainer (higher speed = more power).
2. Resistance mode: manually adjust the resistance from 0 to 100%
3. Ergo Mode: Specify the power you want and the trainer will automatically adjust to keep you at the specified wattage regardless of your speed
4. Simulation mode: Uses rolling resistance, air resistance, rider weight and different grades of inclination to simulate a real ride.

How will my Kickr Bike be delivered?
The Kickr comes as a compact package with most parts already assembled. The main thing you need to do is assemble the stand, the contact points (handlebars, saddle and pedals) and of course connect it to the network. This is easy to do with the manual that comes with it!

How does power measurement work on the Kickr Bike?
The power measurement on the Kickr Bike is integrated into the indoor bike and is single sided. However, the measured value can be transmitted to your cycling computer if you connect the Kickr Bike to a cycling computer which can read power.
