The Trek FX 3 EQ is a multifaceted hybrid bike that'll make both your day-to-day and sports rides much more fun. With its lightweight aluminium frame, comfortable sitting position and high-end components, this bike perfectly balances speed and comfort. Whether you're cycling through the city or going for long distances, the FX 3 EQ is your ideal companion.
Frame and geometry
The aluminium frame of the Trek FX 3 EQ has been designed for durability and lightweight performance. Its geometry encourages an upright sitting position, which is comfortable on long rides and gives you a good overview of busy city traffic. The carbon front fork absords vibrations from rough road surfaces, making your ride smooth and pleasant.
Shifting and braking
Outfitted with a Shimano Cues drivetrain, the FX 3 EQ has 10 gears, perfect for both flat and hilly terrain. The rear derailleur, a Shimano CUes U6000 GS, shifts smoothy and precisely. The hydraulic Shimano BR-MT201 disc brakes provide reliable brake power, even in wet circumstances, so you'll always be able to safely come to a halt.
Finish and accessories
This bike comes with mudguards, a strong pannier rack and integrated, dynamo-powered lights, so you're always clearly visible. The 35 mm wide, puncture resistant tyres offer grip and comfort on both asphalt and gravel. The shock absorbing handlebars and ergonomic grips provide even more comfort on long rides.

Making a choice is difficult. Took a long time. I now have a slightly less comfortable bike mainly I think because of the type of tyres, but I am getting used to it.
