Description
The Trek Domane AL 3 is one of the finest road bikes for novice riders. The frame is focused on comfort, so you won't end up riding in an extremely sporty position. But as this Domane's components already perform at a high level, you'll also go fast, making it an ideal all-round beginner's road bike.
The frame of the Trek Domane AL 3 is made of lightweight aluminium. The front fork is made of carbon, which improves comfort and handling. Additionally, you can opt to buy the Duotrap S sensor that fits nicely in your frame, so it's discreetly tucked away. And with mudguard and a carrier mounting points, you can easily turn it into a fast commuter road bike.
The Shimano Sora groupset has been renewed 2 years ago and has taken over almost all techniques of the higher groupsets. This means that the difference in quality has become very small and Sora now has enough quality to enjoy years of cycling. Another bonus is that Trek already assembles a standard climbing gear, so you can take this racing bike with you to the mountains.
This makes the Trek Domane AL 3 pleasant and versatile enough to enjoy for years to come.
