The Time Atac series remains one of the best and most famous pedals. Loved for their play and excellent clip-in performance. The large open spring in the pedal ensures that mud does not stick to your pedal and you can clip-in almost every way. The ATAC XC 4 uses of a hollow steel shaft, composite body and stainless steel springs. The release angle can be set manually at 13 or 17 degrees, just by mounting the left cleat on your right shoe and vice versa.

Great pedals

Always liked time pedals as they clear the mud easily. These seem to be well made although I think the metal arches are not as robust as they used to be (recently had a pair of xc2s where the metal arch broke when I came off the bike and these are he same metal arches as the xc2s)

Easy to engage

Low maintenance - the bearings last for ages.

Plenty of movement while clipped in
