With the Squirt Lube + Squirt Lube Low Temperature combination deal you're ensured of a smooth running chain year round. Squirt Lube is perfect for almost all conditions. Dirt will no longer stick to your chain, not even when the road is wet and dirty. It does not melt off on hot summer days keeping the chain links smooth. Squirt Lube can solidify to much on cold autumn or winter days, to prevent such from happening Squirt developed their Low Temperature variant. If the weather forecast predicts temperatures below 5 °C the Low Temperature Lube needs to go on your chain. You will ride as smooth on this cold winter day as you're used to during the rest of the year!
Applying Squirt Lube for the first time
The first time you put Squirt Lube will take a bit more time than applying chain oil. For the best results it is recommended to first degrease the chain and all connected moving parts, even for new chains after which you let the drivetrain dry. After drying you can put 1 to 2 layers of Squirt lube on the chain. The lube has to dry as well before you can ride your bike.
Degreasing the chain after rides is no longer necessary. After extreme dirty rides it would serve to remove excess dirt with a cleaning cloth soaked in Squirt Lube. This may extend the life span of your chain and sprockets up to 40%.
Squirt Lube Low Temperature
The Squirt Lube Low Temperature chain wax is especially made for cold weather. When the temps drop below 5°C normal Squirt Lube may solidify. To ensure good lubrication at all temperatures the Squirt Lube Low Temperature was created. A different composition stops the Low Temperature from solidifying so your drivetrain keeps running smoothly.
Using both Squirts together
The normal Squirt and the Low Temperature Squirt can be used interchangeably. If you check the forecast the night before you can pick the right variant to put on your chain to have a smooth drivetrain on your ride come morning!
The Squirt lube is suitable for use on mountain bikes, gravel bikes and even the city bikes.

Good and practical all-weather lubricant.

Very good lubricant for the MTB chain, but I have also been using it for years on my work bike. If the chain has not really become dirty, I just drizzle the squirt on the dirty chain, sometimes dusting it off with a dry cloth first. If there is a lot of mud on the chain, I clean it with water (and soap). I do not wait until it is dry, but dry it with a cloth and put the first layer of squirt on the "wet" chain, so it does not rust if it is not stainless steel. On very long trips, I take a mini bottle with me for the road. When I prepare my bike after a ride I put it on for higher temperatures. If it is cold before a ride I just put the Low Temperature Squirt on (liberally), this gives no problems.
