Solid and reliable
A strong and durable aluminium frame forms the framework for this Sparta c-Grid Energy LTD. The 400- or 500Wh battery is neatly tucked away in this frame, obviously it is removable to prevent theft. The whole thing is powered by Bosch's quiet and smooth Active Line Plus motor. Data such as ride time is clearly displayed on the Purion display on the handlebar. The mid-motor ensures stable handling.
Furthermore, Sparta has opted for Shimano's Nexus hub gear, need we say anything more about that? After years of loyal service, this hub doesn't need to prove itself, combined with an efficient belt drive, maintenance is kept to an absolute minimum.
Practical to use
This electric bike is perfect for rides between your work and home, as well as for shopping or just touring. The pannier rack allows you to mount panniers so you can carry up to about 25 kilos of luggage or groceries. The mudguards ensure that you arrive at work clean despite some wet sand or mud on the road. By the way, thanks to the hydraulic disc brakes, this bike is not afraid of a bit of precipitation anyway, the brakes allow for powerful braking and good dosage even with some rain.
