The Ultegra 6800 hubset has an attractive design, the pretty dark grey colour fits almost every colour rim. The Ultegra 6800 hubset rotates smoothly through the cone bearing for accuracy.
This edition of the Ultegra 6800 hub is based on a cone bearing which is focussed on reliability and higher power performance. The hubs last longer and are easy in maintenance. This is all possible with the Digital Click technique. Shimano use the cup-cone technology where the cone bearers are more durable than the closed industry bearings. A cone can distribute power more equally, so they rotate smoothly and last longer. The cup cone bearings are easier in maintenance and easier to replace.
