New technology
The technology in this Shimano 105 R7000 groupset was inspired by mountain bike groupsets. For example, the rear derailleur has the Shimano Shadow design so it'll shift well under strain and in rough conditions. Plus, it's better protected from fall damage.
The crank has also been upgraded: its weight is now lower due to the renewed design, while rigidity and power transfer have been improved.
The shifters of this Shimano 105 groupset have an ergonomic shape and have extra grip on the surface, so you'll cycle more comfortably and have more grip in wet conditions.
Last but not least, even the brakes got an upgrade in this Shimano 105 groupset. They're now more aerodynamic, more powerful and less heavy. That means you can bike faster and with more control!

Multiple ratios, faster shifting
