Description
The Sensa Treviso N-7 is the bike that will make it just as easy to run errands as it is to take a brisk bike ride. Although a ride to Treviso in Italy might be a little too spicy.
Versatile traveler
Looking to make your first multi-day bike trip? Or do you just want to make your daily commute and errands on a smooth bike? The Sensa Treviso N-7 makes it possible! In fact, with the option to mount a front carrier and bottle cages, you can easily go on a short holiday. That's why the Treviso falls without among trekking bikes. However, because the gears and brakes are very reliable, but not at the highest level, you won't feel guilty using this hybrid bike for everyday rides, where the bike can take a beating.
The Sensa Treviso N-7 features an aluminium frame with some techniques straight from sports bikes. For example, the tubes of this frame are made using the 'butted' technique. This means the material is thicker at stress points, but thinner in the remaining areas. The result is a light and strong frame, with very good handling. The riding position is slightly active, with the adjustable stem allowing you to adopt your ideal posture. In addition, this bicycle has the possibility to mount bottle cages and lowriders. A lowrider is a carrier on the front fork, where you can carry extra luggage. Very handy if you want to go away for the weekend on your bike. However, the lack of suspension makes this bike less suitable for heavy and difficult terrain.
Reliable components
The Sensa Treviso N-7's equipment is similar to many city bikes: A reliable Shimano Nexus 7 internal hub gear and roller brakes. This internal hub gear offers enough range to cycle between meadows with a headwind, but for heavy hills this bike falls just a little short. The same goes for the brakes: the roller brakes are reliable, but in terms of sheer braking power they fall a little short compared to disc brakes, for example.
Safety
The lights on this bike are powered by a hub dynamo. This system is low-maintenance and ensures you are always visible. Besides this safety, safety is also provided when parking your bike. With an AXA Defender RL frame lock, you can put your bike away without any worries. All in all, this Sensa Treviso N-7 is therefore an ideal city bike, where you don't have to shy away from even a long ride or short holiday.
